2: Mommy's tummy really wasn't that big with me! | Mommy and Daddy are ready to go into surgery. I was born by C-section.
3: Mommy and I are getting to know each other better. So far I like her.
4: When Lilly was born we found out that her head was 3 cm larger than her chest. They should be the same size. She was put under observation for a while. | Lilly's First Pictures

6: Welcome Home! On Lilly's first Sunday she word her new spring dress. She's so cute!
8: Blessing Day! Lilly wore a pink dress to church and we changed her into the blessing dress that Nana made when we got there. She was beautiful! | Lilly is wearing her pretty white blessing dress that Nana made for her. Such a n angel!
10: Lilly continued to get sicker and sicker. Her head was swelling and she could not keep any food down. We ended up at Children's Hospital
11: This is one of our favorite students. Jenna-Lee. She helped Mommy decorate my door. | This is our all-time favorite nurse Heather. She played phase 10 with mommy and daddy during breaks and made the stay a lot better. We found out that I had lcmv and only part of my brain grew.
12: I gave everyone a scare when my temp fell really low. I slept in an incubator for 3 days.
13: Mommy is trying really hard to smile even with so much stress going on.

23: Lilly had fun on the way home. She was eating a cookie. | Kinda cool how much daddy looks like Joseph Smith don't ya think?
24: Lilly had some trouble with a lazy eye so we took her to a specialist in Omaha. He decided that we needed to patch her good eye. He gave us really cute patches
26: With the discovery that Lilly's left side was not as strong as her right, we started Lilly in PT when she was 6 weeks old. These are some of the things she did.

28: Lilly ended up back in Children's in August of 2009. She was a very sick little girl and after a 10 day stay we finally convinced the surgeon to revise her shunt

30: Poor Lilly had a massive incision after surgery | Momma had such a bad migraine from emotional meltdowns that she went and slept in the bathtub with the light off. Daddy came in to see what had happened to her, and took this picture.
31: After her surgery Lilly began to be Lilly again. Happy and cute as ever | Erin brought some toys in for Lilly to play with.
32: Lilly got to ride to the Child Life room in this super cool car. We also did a few laps around the 3rd floor before we came back to our room. It was so good to get her out of that bed!
33: Lilly was not able to keep food down for 10 days straight so a feeding tube was placed down her throat.
