1: This is oxidation, which is the process by which oxygen combines with water and minerals in the rock which forms iron oxide. | I found this picture below the popcorn shop. | I found this picture on the walls of the upper falls
2: This stone under the popcorn shop is an example of frost action which is when water enters a crack in a rock then expands upon freezing.
3: I found the example of living organisms above, in the lower falls. The picture below was found on the rails of the upper falls. Living organisms is when slippery moss or lichens grow on the rock.
4: This is a picture of the river and it is an example of erosion. Which is when particles are carried to a different spot.
5: This picture is an example of root action because the roots of plants worked their way into cracks enlarging them. I found this picture on the walls of the upper falls.
6: These are examples of erosion, the water is carrying away the dirt from the banks and bringing them to a new spot. i found these pictures on the upperfalls.
