1: This artifact is about learning the different developmental milestones through raising a Virtual Child.
2: At the age of infancy and toddler stage it is important to know the developmental milestones your child is achieving as it is a tool to measure a child's growth. A child will achieve these milestones at different rates.
3: It is important as an ECE to observe objectively of a infant and toddler because it helps us to review and find out if there are any learning or physical disabilities or if a child is achieving at a high rate then other children their age.
4: By analyzing each developmental stage, I will be able to assess the child's growth and guide the child through each milestone by providing the right skills and toys for a child to learn at their potential.
5: This assignment allowed me to explore the role of a child, parent and teacher and show me the responsibilities to understand what is expected of me in field placement and to achieve my goals.
