Our Christmas gift to the kids was 3 new kittens! When we returned from Ohio, we eagerly started looking . . . visited the Humane Society, went to adoption fairs, searched the Web. Little did we know that winter was not a big time for kitten litters! We finally found the perfect kitties, through a rescue organization called Shelter to Home. Their foster "Mom" Brenda and her son had taken great care of them....Tide and Eve were brother and sister, and Krissy was the sweet little Calico who purred when we pet her. We spent the first night with them camping out in the study! | Our Wonderful New Kitties!
Family Reunion in California Memorial Day weekend brought a trip to San Diego for the Hanna family reunion. We stayed at a great hotel right near the harbor (which made for some fun family runs). We saw Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Connie and Uncle Gerard, Great Uncle Lou, cousins Lyn, Ryan, Lisa, Jonny and little Hanna and Jake. We had fun swimming in the (chilly) Pacific, eating dinner overlooking the ocean and going down to the beach for the sunset, going to Sea World and - the highlight of the trip - Legoland!!
Grandad Hall bought a HUGE RV, so we had to test it out by going camping . . . in April! Fortunately, we had great warm weather and saw some amazing scenery in this southwestern Ohio state park. Huge caves, ravines and waterfalls! We explored the park on several fun hikes with Aunt Carol, Uncle Larry and Claire. Gonzo and Grandad held down the fort at the campsite. | Hocking Hills
Swimming with Dolphins in the Florida Keys!
First Day of School! | The day after Labor Day brought our return to school! Kelly started Sophomore year at Saline High and Kevin was a big 8th grader at the middle school. Kyle was the only one with a change - now riding a bus to the 4th-5th grade building, Heritage. It was a GREAT school year for all of us! | School Days
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Kyle turned 10, Kevin turned 13, Kelly turned 15, Dad turned 48, and Mom turned 49!
 Bar Mitzvah Fun!
Turkey Trot | Dexter Ann Arbor | Dexter Holiday Hustle | Big House, Big Heart | Families that run together stay together...
KY L E | Kyle had a great year! He continued playing forward for the Sting soccer team - and had to deal with offsides! He played in his first indoor soccer tourney, started playing clarinet in the band and ran cross country in the Fall. He can be so funny and brings a smile to our faces.
 KYLE | LOVES | SOCCER!
KEVIN | Kevin is doing a great job in 8th grade. His teachers raved about what a leader he is! He continues to love soccer and his Heat team, did a great job in track and cross country and always has a great time with his friends.
 Kevin loves... S O C C E R
Kevin had lots of fun on the middle school CC team - which lost just one meet during his two years! We liked Coach Barnett and the other great coaches. Kevin had lots of buddies on the team and was always the number two runner for Saline, finishing behind his great friend, Logan - and generally finishing 2nd in the race! | Cross Country | 2-Mile PR: 11:23
KELLY | Kelly is loving high school and makes us so proud! She is a great student and works very hard. She had fun playing freshman soccer (and we had fun watching), but her real love is RUNNING - especially cross country, but soon also track. She played violin in the orchestra, babysat lots of neighborhood kids, got her learner's permit and kept up with all her friends on Facebook!
 Cross Country Camp
... | Cross Country | 5K PR: 20:23 | Kelly had an amazing Sophomore season, running on the top 7 varsity A team in most meets (out of 140 girls!) - until "iron depletion" slowed her at the end of the season. We're getting her back on track - for track! She loves the running, but even more, loves her wonderful teammates and coaches.
Kelly had so much fun at homecoming! She went with Lindsey, Maddie, Tori, Jennie, Julia, and Jenny. First the girls stopped at Lindsey's for pictures, then dinner at Olive Garden, then to the dance, which had a Greek mythology theme. It was a great night!
