BC: Patricia Polacco | Patricia Polacco was born on July 11, 1944, in Lansing, Michigan. Her parents are divorced. When Patricia's parents got divorced, Patricia and her brother Richard would go live with their dad during the summer. In school Patricia had trouble with reading,math,numbers, and letters. She ended up going on in school and graduating. Now she is an author of over 28 books. Patricia Polacco also enjoys drawing alot.

1: For the Love of Autumn is about a kitten that showed up at this nice lady's house. The women Danielle took care of Autumn, but it turns out while one night Autumn was missing that she was going to a man's house who was also taking care of the little kitten. Then the man Stephen Noton came to Danielle's house and they talked. At the end Danielle and the man get married, and they shared Autumn.
2: Someone for Mr. Sussman is about a women named Bubbie. She is a wonderful match maker. For Bubbie, finding people the perfect match is easy. Except for Mr. Sussman. Bubbie was not married yet. She had feelings for Mr. Sussman and whenever he said he wanted a women who could bake, or remember the country she would try to be that way, but he never realized his perfect match was right in front of him. Finally Bubbie was so mad that Mr. Sussman need so much help that Bubbie said he didn't need a wife, he needed a miracle. But then one day Mr. Sussman came to her house and did realize that Bubbie was right for him. At the end they got married.
3: Thank you Mr. Falker is about Patricia Polacco's real school life.The teacher Mr. Falker was actually her teacher when she was young. except he was Mr. Focker. In this book Trisha ( Patricia Polacco ) had trouble with Reading, Writing, Letters, and Numbers.The kids kept making fun of her for it and Mr. Falker did not know Patricia had trouble learning, because she was hiding it, but soon after that Mr. Falker found out and helped her. And Patricia went along with school and even graduated. Patricia Polacco was very thankful for Mr.Focker.
4: The Lemonade Club is about a girl named Marilyn and her best friend Traci. Traci starts to notice that Marilyn is losing weight and seeming tired all the time. Sadly it turns out Marilyn has Leukemia (cancer). She lost her hair too. When Marilyn finally returned to school with her hair still gone... the whole class including the teacher shaved their heads. They had a cake and celebrated that Marilyn was back!
5: Rotten Richie and the Ultimate Dare is about a brother and sister who are angry at each other. Trisha (Richie's sister) does ballet and she has a performance coming up. Richie does hockey and he has a game coming up. Richie is always making fun of Trisha for her ballet. So Trisha and Richie made a deal. Richie has to perform in her performance and Trisha has to play in the hockey game. Trisha won the game for Richie's team, but on the other hand Richie was ruining everything in the show and had to fix all of it. It ended up that they weren't upset at each other anymore and the game and show went well.
