FC: Follett Memories

10: Those were the days – she was so much fun – made me look forward to virtually every day that I came to work at Follett! There was a really close chemistry among the senior team in those years – smaller yes, no where near as accomplished as today but collectively in spite of our flaws, it was a lot of fun working with that whole bunch and we got the job done, worked hard together as a team and had fun the whole way. It was what made Follett such a special place to be. And for me and most others, Don Follett was "king kong"... a wonderful mentor and a great inspiration for us all. So optimistic, so confident of our young and emerging capabilities... fearless and always supportive even when things did not go our way. I so wish that all young executives could have the experience that I had at Follett... a very special place indeed. | Thoughts from Spence. . . | Hat party by Spence in 1987 or early 1988. Check out Steve, J., Jack, Paul, Pat and Bob and Elli Conti... what fun!!
