1: Reginald Fessenden Reginald Fessenden was born on October 6 1866 in East Bolton, Quebec. His family move was little. At age fourteen he earned a scholarship to Bishop Collage. When he was eighteen years old he became the headmaster at a school in Bermuda. | After this he became Thomas Edison’s chief chemist. He was determined to fulfill his childhood dream. Which was to make a way for people to talk without wires. So in 1900 he created the first human voice radio. In December 1905 he made his first public transmission.
2: He had over 500 inventions. Two other of his inventions are metal teabags and the electric gyroscope. To conclude he helped a lot of people with his inventions.
3: Questions What was your childhood like?
4: I think Reginald Fessenden had an alright childhood because he didn’t starve and his family wasn’t poor but his parents didn’t believe in him. They thought that he would be a church minister or a teacher . When he closed his eyes he saw a machine that could transmit a human voice without wires. His mom tolled him “there’s no future in that.” She was wrong. So Reginald didn’t starve but wasn’t supported.
5: What’s your favorite invention that you invented?
6: I think it would have been the radio because it helps a lot of people. If your hurt and there’s no one around you can call for help. If a natural disaster hits your area you can listen for news. If you are in the market you can hear whets going on. by expanding on his invention we invented cell phones and televisions. When you think about it, Reginald Fessenden was a genus that helped a lot of people.
7: Why is he a hero?
8: Reginald Fessenden is a LEADER because he didn’t give up when people laughed at his ideas. No matter how many people said he was a dreamer, he didn’t give up. Is mother laugh at is ideas and he still didn’t give up He is BRAVE for this reason. To conclude he is a good role model.
