FC: Selena Quintanilla's Death

1: Selena met with Yolanda on March 31, 1955 to settle financial problems. They got in an argument and Yolanda Saldivar shot Selena in her right shoulder. Selena tried to run down to the lobby for help but, collapsed. The hotel manager called 911. She bled to death in the hospital.

2: The police surrounded her truck and after more than nine hours she gave in and left under police custody. | After Yolanda shot Selena she locked herself in her car.

3: During the nine hours that she was in her truck, she held the same gun she shot Selena with to her head. She said was ashamed for what she had done.

4: Yolanda was charged with first degree of murder. She says that she accidentally shot Selena when she was gesturing with the gun. Yolanda admitted to shooting Selena but she says she didn't do it on purpose. They deliberated for two hours during her trial. She was sentenced to a life in prison and opportunity for parole in after 30 years.

6: Selena Quintanilla's grave is located at Corpus Christi Texas. The grave is an image of her face.
