1: Who am I? You tell me who I am. Tell me who I was and who you want me to be. For all I know is who you have created, and myself, I still don't know who I am. No matter how much I've grown, no matter where I will be, the greatest I will be. I will create my world to what you've subject me to, and turn it against you. Don't mistake me; I will need you to shape my world. For now let's review who I've been and put it into little words. I know I'm greedy; I have pride, I look for lust, for envy, for wrath, for sloth, for gluttony. I know I am part of all our earthly sins; but I molded them to be: ambition, honor, beauty, creating the envy of others. Yeah I'm not perfect, but who is? I know that I can get inside you, and turn you down on your knees; but I chose not to, for this mask the world has given me is not so fit, it allows me to breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.
2: Nothing out of the normal, El Salvador falls in the category of a growing country. Residents can’t seem to want to change that, all they want is the greed of the dollar sign. I grew up in such a land where, the forest wasn’t around, the sound of the automobiles was greater than those of the birds, and clouds were mere illusions created by those loud roaming engines. So much for the good life; but I grew up with the best family, a poor government, and a bunch of dreams. As of now, El Salvador is still a beautiful country full of life, but maybe it’s better to see the bad aspects before the good. Our Government in Central America is so influenced by the United States, that it has forgotten some of it’s cultural values. For example, the removal of its native currency, and the introduction of the dollar created a some-what type of inflation in the country.
3: Since then, the amount people earn for their labor has remained untouched, but the value of goods rose for the consumer. Think, if a can of soda was 5 dollars now and later on another currency is brought to this country, that same can of soda now costs 8.50 dollars because the denomination is higher; wouldn’t you be a little enraged at what your government just did. It created low paychecks to those who had the good life, and made the government officials richer. I think that’s enough about my country’s bad economy, lets move to the good part. My country is rich in culture. It’s food its like no other, its sights are one of a kind, its traditions are marvelous, its rhythm of life a slow yet fast passed. Oh don’t even get me started!. I think most of us find our country the most beautiful in the world, of course why wouldn’t you, it’s the country that gave birth to your generation. What else can be said, go see it for yourself.
4: I hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known. Go on and wander all alone, in river beds, or in the highest of mountain tips. Go on and wander in a place, that only your soul can find its way. Go on and reach a place, where no worries remain. go on and look inside a place so full of shining dark. Go ahead and look, for only those with their eyes shut can see it become filled with friends. Go on and share, with a bison or even a snake. Go on to such a place, where only you can see the wonder of child's games. Go on, go on, lead a mission of hate or joy, but remember not to tell, before something makes those wonders go on away.
