1: CHILDHOOD OBESITY | Childhood obesity is becoming a serious epidemic, and one of the major contributors is the increase in sedentary lifestyles in young kids.

5: An important part of school lunches is what the Children are drinking, most schools don't provide enough healthy options for kids to have instead of sugar filled drinks. also schools need to cut down on what schools are allowing their kids eat and drink because of the rising risk of childhood obesity.
7: Children have been gaining weight at a rapid pace because of the change in the lifestyles of children. More children now are becoming more invested in their video games along with not exercising enough, which is causing an epidemic.
10: The United States is the leader in average calorie intake per day. which shows how we are starting to eat too many calories and it's leading to unhealthy lifestyles for children and adults.
13: The sedentary lifestyle that kids are adopting now a days is becoming an unhealthy way of living for kids that need to stay active. Children need at least an hour of play a day instead of spending 5 to 6 hours sitting down in front of the television or computer. There has been extensive research that has been going towards how kids stay active and what they do after school hours.
15: In a research study it showed that kids who spent extended periods of time in front of the television or computer were to ones that were more overweight then the kids who spent less time in this kind of a sedentary lifestyle.
16: Children need to become more active with playing after school instead of going home and sitting down in front of the Television or computer. Kids who are obese spent on average more hours in front of the Television and computer after school.
18: Kids can find many different ways to exercise from just playing tag to playing soccer or rugby.
19: Children need to have plenty of exercise in any way of playing.
20: Kids can find many alternatives to regular exercise like running or walking around. They can hang out with friends and play a sport or even enjoy a snowball fight.
23: Childhood obesity can lead to obesity as and adult which can cause more health risks like diabetes and chronic heart diseases and other problems that can be avoided with managing ones weight.
24: Obese adults are more likely to suffer from heart problems and other diseases like diabetes then adults who aren't overweight. And the problems can start from when we are kids, and follow us our entire lives, which can change a persons life forever.
