FC: The Great Depression
6: During 1920 everything was great the market was booming. But as prices went up so did the cost of business. It was hard for businesses to stay competitive and profitable. When the stock market crashed people started saving instead of buying which hurt the economy. Banks that closed just took the money invested with them.
7: It lasted for twelve long years. Many people didn't recover until the United States entered World War II.
12: Life during the great depression could be two things. If you were a pessimist you looked on the bad side of everything and did not focus on what you had. Optimist would thank God for whatever they had, even if it was very little. Families went with out food sometimes, as well as shelter.
13: Its safe to say that everybody was effected by the great depression. Even the rich were hurt because of the stock market crash. It was a tough time for Americans.
22: The end of the great depression was marked by the exact day that America entered World War II. It created many jobs and people started investing again.
