FC: World War Two | By Maggie Shaw
On September 1st 1939, Germany invaded Poland without warning sparking the start of World War Two. By evening of September 3rd, Britain and France were at war with Germany and within a week, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and south Africa had also joined the war. The world had been plunged into its second world war in 25 years.
When you think about it WW2 started because WW1 never really ended, Not for Germany anyway. Germany was crumbling, Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews. He believed that all of Germany's problems were because of the Jewish.

The gun above is called a 50.Cal machine gun | Gun to your left is a M1 Grand a major asset to the allied forces.
This gun above is called a Bazooka. | The gun above is called a Tommy gun
On August 6th the first Nuclear bomb named "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima in Japan.
On August 9th the second Atomic Bomb "Fat Man" was dropped over Nagasaki. Six days after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan surrenders.
War requires weapons and supplies. Weapons and supplies equal jobs. Jobs equal money. Money equals food and everything a person and their family needs to survive. When the Great Depression hit the world it caused thousands upon thousands of families to leave there houses, friends, and everything they knew, to go live in shacks and tents, having barely enough food and no money. With no jobs available, there was no money to spend. When people have no money to buy things then stores aren't making enough to be able
to hire workers. So its a circle; No jobs equal no money and no money equals no sales for businesses and no sales for businesses equals no money to hire workers. Having war is a bad thing, but on the other hand sometimes it might have been a beneficial thing. This is the case for WW2. Because of WW2 America was able to make its way out of the depression. The war created many jobs for women, working in factory's making all sorts of things that were needed for the solders to fight and win the war.
