4: Why did the U.S. get involved in WWII? | The U.S became involved in WWII? Part of the reason was when the Lend-Lease act was passed we were no longer neutral and FDR was given the power to direct aid to whomever he wanted, so he aided the French and the British armies with arms and supplies. The biggest reason we went to the war, however, was the attack on Pearl Harbor. After the massive deaths we needed to show the Japanese that we wouldn't just lie down and let them walk over us, so we went to war.
5: When did the U.S. get Involved in WWII? | We declared war on December 8, 1941 but we were technically already at war with them at 7:55 the morning before when they attacked Pearl Harbor. We left the war when it ended, on September 2nd, 1945.
6: How did WWII Start? | WWII Started on September 1, 1939 when the German soldiers invaded Poland and declared war on France.
7: Which countries were involved in WWII? | The Countries involved in WWII were Germany, Japan, Italy, The U.S., Canada, Great Britain, The Soviet Union, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Brazil.
8: What were the popular weapons used in WWII? | The weapons used in WWII were Bolt-Action Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Semi-Automatic Rifles, Sub Machine Guns, Assault Rifles Most popular of of which are the M-16 and The AK-47, Pistols Most popular of which was the Mi9ii, Light Machine Guns, Anti-Tank Weapons, Hand Grenades, Light Mortars, and Flamethrowers. The most Popular weapons list is The M1 Garand, the MP43 who's assault rifle version is named the MP44, the M1911, the bazooka, panzerfaust ( tank fist), The M16, and the AK-47.
9: What was the signifi-cance of "Rosie the Riveter"? | Rosie the Riveter was a symbol to all women in the time of WWII that women could stand up and do the same work as men if they tried it.She was a type of propaganda to get women to work so that we had enough people working to make supplies for the war, since all of the men were fighting.
10: A brief summary of how WWII brought us out of the great depression | When the war began, products became needed desperately. Because so many things were needed, not only were the old jobs refilled with workers but extra factories and workers were needed for all the supplies to be made. This began to circulate money again, thus briging us out of the Great Depression.
