9: My jolly jumper was a gift from my parents to improve and encourage my healthy development. It provided exercise and freedom of movement for me and my parents loved the fact that I was having fun while being contained. I loved the experience of jumping and it helped me develop stronger leg muscles and coordination.
11: My third birthday
12: My parents say by biggest issue was my thumb sucking. At birth I reflexively sucked on any object placed near my mouth, since sucking is one of a baby's natural reflexes. My behavior lasted a lot longer than it should have. The sucking was for soothing and I would always prefer my thumb over my pacifier. My parents found this frustrating since this behavior can cause dental development problems. I finally got over this bad habit at about 4 years of age.
