FC: Henry Kofi Adu Frempong Born June 18, 2010 | Baby's First Year
Henry came into our world around 9am on June 18, 2010 by a planned cesarean section. We had a difficult time getting the IV in prior to the surgery (took three pokes!), but other than that it was a smooth delivery. Henry came out big and healthy just like his older brother. | Henry Kofi Adu Frempong 10 lb, 5 oz and 21" long | Presenting......
Henry was weighed and cleaned while Mom got stitched up. They were quickly reunited in the post operative recovery area, where Grandma also got to meet her newest grandson! We are so blessed he came out so healthy and wonderful!
Henry had his routine newborn testing and vaccinations done, including lots of blood sugar levels from his poor little heel (all which were normal)- he clearly disapproved of the entire process! He also got his first bath and was returned to me sparkling clean and ready to cuddle! I recovered quickly from the surgery and we got to go home together three days later.

 Sweet Memories
Elliott turned out to be a wonderful big brother. He took the job seriously and often studied his Big Brother book! He enjoyed showing Henry how to play with toys- and he often asked to hold Henry, and give him hugs and kisses. I hope they always stay this close and friendly!
We had our professional photographs done when Henry was just a few days old. They turned out wonderful!
 Life is Good!
Henry's first Halloween! We went Trick-or-Treating in Multnomah Village. Henry was a pumpkin and Elliott was a "cheesy-burger." Elliott was pretty confused by the whole thing but pretty happy with his loot of candy at the end of the day. | Autumn
In late November, Daddy came home from San Diego after serving five years in the US Navy. We are so proud of him and happy to have him back!

Henry's first Christmas was so much fun that we forgot the camera most of the time! I'm sad I didn't document this better! We went to the Oregon Zoo and rode the Zoo Lights Train, visited the Christmas lights display at the Grotto, and had Christmas dinner and opened presents at Grandma & Grandpas. Christmas Eve we went to candlelight mass, although left early because Elliott decided he couldn't continue without his Buzz Lightyear toy. The lady sitting next to Henry flirted with him the entire service! Elliott and Henry got lots of toys, clothes, and books!
We took Henry for his first hair cut on Monday, January 31. The Wilsonville Spokesman was at Whipper Snippers doing a story on how small businesses were faring in the recession. So, Henry got to be in the paper! This article printed in the Wednesday, February 2nd edition.
Eating Solids | We initially started Henry on rice cereal but he quickly and eagerly progressed to adult people food. He just would not settle for that baby food! His favorite foods were fruits, pasta, and yogurt. | Winter
Henry and big brother Elliott were fortunate enough to have the most wonderful grandparents in the world to take care of them when Mommy & Daddy were at work. It was so nice to know they were with people that loved them and that we trust. Plus they did a wonderful job! They enjoyed singing songs, learning numbers and letters, going for walks, etc.
8 months old: Henry is pulling himself up to a standing position, crawling, and sitting on his own. He also has 2 teeth!
We got professional photographs done while Daddy was home. They turned out pretty good considering we had an 8-month old and a 2-year old in the group!
Elliott and Henry are usually pretty good buds, although Elliott can sometimes be a bit rough. It warms my heart when they play together and fill the house with laughter!
Elliott went through a carwash phase- couldn't get enough of it! Grandpa made him this play carwash and Elliott and Henry each controlled different brushes- what fun! | Spring
We went on a 5K walk that went right through the Grand Floral Parade. Henry had such fun he totally passed out by lunch time!
Happy Birthday Henry! | We had a small party to celebrate Henry's 1st birthday. Grandma & Grandpa, Uncles Roger & Galen, Erin, and Bernadette all attended. Check out Henry's haul!
