1: About Our Family | Dad and I met in the Summer of 2008. By Fall I moved from California and was living in Minnesota. Early on we both knew we had found the person we wanted to be with forever- such a wonderful time in our lives! Dad proposed on a bridge in a park in Edina, MN while we were on a walk near our home. What an exciting day! September 6, 2009 we had a beautiful wedding with friends and family in Mankato, MN. As silly as it sounds- I really felt like the luckiest woman in the world (and still do)! To marry my best friend and have such an awesome life ahead of us- and now expecting YOU- who could ask for more?!?
2: How We Found Out | We decided we'd start trying to get pregnant when we returned from our trip to Asia in March 2010. Late April I got a positive pregnancy test! Even though it was early, (I had taken about a million of them) one came up positive that I took at WORK! I was just too excited to wait till I got home to tell your father, so I grabbed the picture from our wedding I kept on my desk and took a picture with my camera phone of the positive test laying across it and sent it to him-he was overjoyed! (*Actual picture I texted Dad late April 2010)
3: How We Told Our Family | Since Mothers Day was just around the corner- we waited until then to tell your grandparents! Since Grandma Penny was in California, she found out over the phone and just screamed in excitement! We met up for a trip in Vegas when I was 6wks pregnant. TARGET field had just opened and we took Grandma L'Myra and Grandpa Chuck to a Twins game to celebrate Mothers Day- AND- let them know the wonderful news! They were so happy! Grandma L'Myra even surprised ME with my very first Mothers Day gift- a very cute Minnesota Twins baseball cap!

Aunt Ellen and Mom's friend Alexis did a great job of putting everything together- great food, fun games and wonderful company!
