Once upon a time, there was a beautiful baby who was welcomed into the world by two loving parents and their family and friends... | Once upon a time, there was a man, his wife... and their dog.
They were very happy. But something was missing from their tiny family.
They wanted a baby. So they prayed, and prayed, and prayed that God would send them a baby to join their family.
Their prayers were answered. A happy baby girl was born. And then there were 3... (and their dog). | Kendall Olivia Lawrence September 12, 2007
But something was still missing... | 2008
Then one day, they found out they were expecting another little miracle! They were SO excited! God had answered their prayers again. Kendall couldn't wait to be a BIG SISTER!
Psalm 139:13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God- you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration - what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.
Your birth | What a surprise! We chose not to find out your gender until your BIRTH-day. It was tempting, but oh so worth the wait! | date:____________ time:____________ length:__________ weight:__________ hospital:_________ | march 10, 2010 | 12:07 p.m. | 20 inches | 8 lbs. 14 oz. | UNMC
After a few trips to Labor & Delivery with "false" labor, we decided you were never going to come. After my due date passed, the midwife let us pick your birthday! We arrived at the hospital just before 7 a.m. Shortly after we were settled in, they gave me a pill to start contractions. You must have been ready because the whole process only took about 5 hours. The nurses kept telling us they thought you might come out a girl. Oh BOY, were they wrong! | The nurses let Papa "catch" you, and announce the news! He was so surprised and proud to finally have a son. | IT'S A BOY! | He will be called... Walker (Papa's middle name) Jeffrey (Grandpa Ingram's first name) | W .J. L.
 And then there were 4...

A little bit of heaven Drifted down from above - A handful of happiness, A heart full of love. The mystery of life, So sacred and sweet. The giver of joy, So deep and complete. Precious and priceless, So lovable, too! The world's sweetest miracle, Baby boy, is you. | Jeffrey | boy | our
You took your first road trip to Grandpa and Grandma Ingram's for Easter. You weren't too fond of dyeing eggs or dressing like a bunny though. | April 2010

two months | You attended your 1st minor league baseball game, Omaha Royals vs. Iowa Cubs during their last season at Rosenblatt Stadium. Papa's favorite baseball player, Ryne Sandberg coached the Iowa team. | Tummy Time!
Dedication July 11, 2010 | Walker has a very sensitive spirit, and a tender heart! He will always be keenly aware of others' feelings and needs, and his life will be characterized by his giving and generosity. Walker will be a true "servant" - always putting others first. You will see this sensitivity in him very early on! He will be alert and responsive when other little ones are crying. He will also be very prone to share, and to give others his toys. It is important that you encourage him with this sensitivity. Some may judge him as not being very "boyish" or masculine, but the truth is, this type of compassionate and servant heart is rare, and a true gift from God! The danger of rejection and the fear of man is very real if his efforts to help and care for others aren't received by them.
a precious gift from God. | Walker will always need to be encouraged that his heart and sensitivity are pleasing to the Lord. This awareness will be the true source of his strength and encouragement. Do not mistake these tendencies as weakness! On the contrary, Walker will be very strong and "all boy". It takes far more inner strength and character to be able to be selfless than it does to only look out for yourself. I believe that Walker will be like the Bible's Jonathan in many ways: strong, fearless, dedicated, sacrificial, and loyal. - Pastor Dave, Trinity/Lifegate Church

You are growing up so fast! You have tried some solid foods, but still prefer your "milk". We thought you might have food allergies, but it turns out you just weren't ready for food yet. You are such a good baby, and a great sleeper! You love your "paci" and Brody the bear!! | celebrate!
your 1st HALLOWEEN | You dressed up as "GEO" from the Team Umizoomi cartoon on Nickelodeon. Big Sis ("Milly") came up with the idea, and Mama made the costumes from scratch. 37: mama | Dear Son, Everytime I look at you, I can't believe that I had in me the power to create such a perfect child as you. As I hold you close to my heart, I pray that I will be here to see & share all your goals and accomplishments. Never before has life seemed so precious to me. I wish I could bottle this time that we share together. When you grow older, perhaps you won't recall how I held you at night until you fell asleep. But, my son, these precious moments I will never forget. I know that life will hold many triumps & trials for you. I want to be there to share in your joys and to be your shoulder when you need to cry. I feel such a fierce, overwhelming desire to protect you from all the evils of this world. Sometimes I will hold you a little too tight - forgive me, you are my world. There are many lessons that I want to teach you. Perhaps the hardest ones will be the ones your learn yourself. I wish that I could learn them for you, for my heart aches at the thought that you may fail at some of life's bittersweet lessons. Please know that, no matter what, you will always have my unconditional, undying love. You have made my life complete. I love you. - Mama

A Father's Wish | Until you have a son of your own, you will never know the joy beyond joy, the love beyond feeling that resonates in the heart of a father as he looks upon his son. You will never know the sense of honor that makes a man want to be more than he is and to pass something good and hopeful into the hands of his son. You will only see the man that stands before you. It is a great privilege and a great burden to be that man. There is something that must be passed from father to son. It is a sense of manhood, of self-worth, of responsibility to the world around us. Although you will walk your own earth and move through your own time, the same sun will rise on you that rose on me, and the same seasons will course across your life as moved across mine. We will always be different, but we will always be the same. I will attempt to give you the lessons of my life, so that you can use them in yours. They are not meant to make you into me. It is my greatest joy to watch you become yourself. But time reveals truths, and these truths are greater than either of us. If I can give them voice in a way that allows me to walk beside you during your days, then I will have done well. To be your father is the greatest honor I have ever received. It allowed me to touch mystery for a moment, and to see my love made flesh. If I could have but one wish, it would be for you to pass that love along. After all, there is not much more to life than that. - excerpt from Letters to My Son: A Father's Wisdom on Manhood by Kent Nerburn
