3: Merry Christmas | Baked Turkey | Preheat oven to 450. Remove giblets. Wrap wingtips in foil to prevent puncturing outer foil. Rub outside of turkey with vegetable oil. Seal turkey in heavy duty foil and cook at 450. Cook 2 hours for 8 pound turkey. Add 30 minutes for each additional 4 pounds.
4: Dressing (Stuffing) | 3 tablespoons chopped onion 3 tablespoons chopped celery (optional) 1/4 cup butter 6 cups herbs croutons 1/2 to 1 cup chicken broth Cook onion and celery in butter. Combine bread with onion and celery. Toss with enough liquid to moisten. Bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

6: Wedding Day | 24-Hour Salad | 1 20 oz can pineapple tidbits 3 slightly beaten egg yolks 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 1 tablespoon butter 2 cans Queen Anne cherries 1 large or 2 small cans oranges 2 cups miniature marshmallows 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
7: Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons syrup. In top of double boiler, mix yolks, reserved syrup, sugar, vinegar, butter, and dash salt. Place over, not touching, boiling water. Cook and stir till mixture thickens slightly and barely coats a spoon (about 12 minutes). Cool to room temperature. Combine well-drained fruits and marshmallows. Pour custard over; mix gently. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into serving bowl. Cover; chill 24 hours. Recipe can be doubled. | 24-Hour Salad page 2
8: Green Bean Casserole 3 cans French cut green beans 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 large can fried onions Combine beans, soup and half of onions in casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cover with remaining onions and bake an additional five minutes to brown. | The Grandkids | Stephen
9: Sweet Potato Casserole | 3 cups (2 large cans) mashed sweet potatoes 2 eggs well beaten 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup margarine 3/4 cup brown sugar Mix well and combine in casserole dish. Top with: 1/3 cup margarine, melted 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup flour (optional) 1 cup chopped pecans Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
10: Broccoli Cheese Casserole 1 medium onion - chopped 2 10 oz packages frozen chopped broccoli 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup milk 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup cooked rice | Saute onion in oil until transparent. Add broccoli and stir until warm. Add soup and heat until it just begins to boil. Add milk and half of the cheese. Add salt. Simmer gentle a few minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cooked rice. Pour into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover dish with aluminum foil. Refrigerate over night. The day of the meal, bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. | Susan and Ted
11: Beth and Kevin | Cauliflower Casserole | Cut head of cauliflower into pieces. Boil until tender (6-8 minutes). Melt 4 tbsp flour. Add 1/4 cup flour and stir until smooth and bubbly. Add 1/4 tsp salt, dash pepper and 2 cups milk. Cook until thick and bubbly. Add 1 tbsp dijon mustard (optional) and 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese is melted. Pour over cauliflower in casserole dish. Combine 1 cup fresh bread crumbs and 1-2 tbsp melted butter. Top casserole with crumb mixture. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until browned and bubbly.
12: Apple Snickers Salad | 4 red apples 4 green apples Wash and cut into bite-sized pieces 6 full-size Snickers bars Cut into bite-sized pieces Dressing: 1 small container Cool Whip 1 8 oz block cream cheese 1 cup sugar Blend until smooth Pour dressing over apples and snickers and toss to coat. | Yum!

14: Fire School | Kevin's Mom | Kevin's Rolls | Begin with: 1-1/4 cup warm water 1 Tbsp shortening 1 pkg yeast 1/2 cup plain flour 1 tsp heaping salt 1/4 cup + 1 tsp sugar Mix 2 minutes at medium speed
15: Kevin's Rolls page 2 | Add 1/2 cup flour + 1 (well beaten) egg. Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in 2-3 cups flour Knead. Cover container and refrigerate 6-10 hours. Remove dough from container and flour lightly. Roll out dough to approximately 1/2". Cut into 2”-3” rolls. Place in greased pans. Cover and let rise 4-5 hours. Bake at 400 degrees until golden on top.
16: Teala's Cheesecake Supreme 3 8 ounce pkgs cream cheese 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 1/4 tsp grated lemon peel 1 egg yolk 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk 2 tbsp all-purpose flour | Prepare graham cracker crumb crust ahead in spring-form pan. Let the cream cheese stand at room temperature to soften (1 to 1 1/2 hours). Beat till creamy; add vanilla and lemon peel. Mix sugar, flour, and salt; gradually blend into cheese. Add eggs and egg yolk all at once; beat just till blended. Gently stir in milk. Turn into crust-lined pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake 55 minutes or till center appears set. Remove from oven; cool 15 minutes; loosen sides of cheesecake from pan with spatula. Cool 1/2 hour more; remove sides of pan. Cool 2 hours longer before eating. Top with fruit if desired.
17: Teala | Johanna | Four Layer Dessert | Prepare graham cracker crust in casserole dish. Combine medium container of cool whip, 8 ounces of cream cheese, and 1 cup powdered sugar. Beat until well blended. Pour over crust. Prepare large box chocolate pudding as directed. Pour over cream cheese layer. Top with another carton of cool whip. Decorate with nuts if desired.
18: Creamed Turkey on Toast | Leftover turkey - chopped Toast White Sauce Place chopped turkey on toast. Make white sauce by melting 2 tablespoons butter over low heat. Blend in 2 tablespoons all purpose flour and dash salt. Add one cup milk all at once. Cook quickly until mixture thickens. Pour sauce over turkey. | Leftovers
