2: Combine mayonnaise, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper. Add potatoes, eggs, onions, and pickles. Mix lightly. Chill. | Ingredients: | 1 c mayonnaise 1 tsp mustard 1/2 tsp celery seed 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 4 c cubed, cooked potatoes 4 chopped boiled eggs 1/2 c chopped onions 1/2 c sweet relish | Potato Salad | 1

3: Deviled Eggs | 8 hard cooked eggs 3 T mayonnaise 1 tsp mustard 2 tsp lemon juice 1-1/2 tsp Worcestershire 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper Paprika | Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and mash. Add mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the yolk and blend well. Refill egg whites. | Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Chill thoroughly. | Ingredients: | 2

4: Coleslaw | 6 c shredded cabbage 1 grated carrot 1 T grated onion (or onion powder) 1 c mayonnaise 1/2 c sugar 1/2 tsp mustard 1/4 tsp celery seed 2 tsp vinegar 1/4 tsp salt Pinch prepared horseradish | Mix in order given. | From the Kitchen of: Grandma Powers | Ingredients: | 3

5: Best Cabbage Coleslaw | 2 pks of shredded cabbage 1 large red onion, diced 1 c grated carrots 2 stalks celery, chopped 1 c white sugar | In a large bowl combine cabbage, onion, carrots, & celery. Sprinkle with sugar and mix well. | In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, salt, dry mustard, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture and mix well. | NOTE: This is best if made a day ahead to 2 weeks ahead. If you make it far ahead, drain juice just prior to serving. | 1 c white vinegar 3/4 c vegetable oil 1 T salt 1 T dry mustard black pepper to taste | Ingredients: | 4

6: Baked Beans | 2 (16 oz) cans pork 'n beans 1/4 c brown sugar 1/2 tsp mustard 1/2 c catsup 1/2 c chopped onions 1 tsp Worcestershire 1 lbs meatballs, hot dogs, or bacon | Combine all ingredients. Bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 1/2 an hour longer, until browned. | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Ingredients: | 5

7: Bean Casserole | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 1 hour | 1/2 lb hamburger 1/2 lb bacon, cut up 1/8 c onion, chopped 1 can pork 'n beans 1 can butter beans 1 can kidney beans | Brown hamburger & onions; drain grease. Add bacon & beans. Simmer 20 minutes. | In a casserole dish mix the following, then add beans: | 2 T sugar 1c Brown sugar 1/4 c ketchup 1/4 c mustard 2 T molasses | 6 | Ingredients:

8: Quarter-Baked Potatoes | 3 or 4 potatoes 1/2 c melted oleo salt pepper garlic powder 1 onion | Wash potatoes and cut lengthwise into 1/4 sections. Put potatoes in a single layer in baking dish. | Pour oleo over potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and a light sprinkling of garlic powder. | Slice the onion and lay over potatoes. Cover with foil and bake until potatoes are tender. Drain butter and serve on the side with potatoes. | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 45-50 minutes | 7 | Ingredients:

9: Scalloped Potatoes | From the Kitchen Of: Mary Smith | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 45-60 minutes | Mix: 2 lbs frozen hash browns 1/2 c butter, melted 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 2 T chopped onion 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pt sour cream 2 c grated cheese | Mix: 2 c crushed cornflakes 1/4 c butter, melted | 8

10: Best Green Bean Casserole | 2 (14 1/2 oz) can green beans, drained 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup 1 (16 oz) can french fried onions 1 c cheddar cheese, shredded | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 15 minutes | Preheat oven. | Place green beans and soup in a large microwave safe bowl. Mix well and heat in the microwave on high until warm (3-5 minutes). | Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and heat mixture for another 2-3 minutes. | Transfer green bean mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with french fried onions and remaining cheese. | Bake until cheese melts and the onions just begin to brown. | Ingredients | 9

11: Pretzel Salad | 1st Layer: | 1-1/2 c crushed pretzels 1 stick butter 1/2 c sugar | Bake 6 minutes. Cool. | 2nd Layer: | 1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese 1 (8 or 9 oz) cool whip 1/2 c sugar | Whip together. Put over 1st layer. | 3rd layer: | 1 lg box strawberry jello 2 c boiling water 2 boxes frozen strawberries | Whip together and put on 2nd layer. Chill until set. | 10

12: Broccoli/Rasin Salad | 10-12 slices of bacon 1 c plumped raisins 1 bunch broccoli 1 c mayonnaise 2 T vinegar 2 T Sugar | Crisp and crumble bacon. Wash and cut off florets of broccoli. Add raisins. Mix mayonnaise with sugar and vinegar. Combine and refrigerate. Broccoli stems may be chopped and used also. | Ingredients: | 11

13: 1/2 bunch broccoli, chopped 1/2 c green onion, chopped 1/2 c sliced almonds, toasted 1/2 lb cooked bacon, crumbled 1 c celery, chopped 1 c green or red grapes, sliced | Mix ingredients, except bacon, nuts, and dressing ahead of time. These 3 parts are added just before serving. | Dressing: | Broccoli-Grape Salad | Ingredients: | 12

14: Strawberry Salad | From the Kitchen Of: Grandma Smith | 2 pkg strawberry jello 2 c boiling water 2 pkg frozen strawberries 1 medium can crushed pineapple 2 large bananas, mashed 1 c (8oz) whipped cream | Dissolve jello in boiling water. | Add undrained pineapple and mashed bananas. | Pour 1/2 of mixture into 8x12'' pan. | let set in refrigerator till thick. | Spread whipped topping over this; then put remaining jello over the topping. Chill. | Ingredients: | 13

15: Strawberry Banana Marble | 1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry jello 3/4 c boiling water 2 c ice cubes 1 container cool whip (12 oz) 1-2 bananas (sliced or diced) | Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add ice cubes. Stir till jello begins to thicken (3-5 minutes). Blend cool whip on top of jello. Add bananas, fold together. Chill till firm. | Ingredients: | 14

16: Tapioca Strawberry Salad | 2 small boxes tapioca pudding 2 small boxes strawberry jello 2-1/2 c water 1 lg container cool whip | Bring to a boil the first three ingredients. Cook until thick and let cool. | Add cool whip; garnish with strawberries, if desired. | Refrigerate until serving time. | Ingredients: | 15

17: Orange Tapioca Salad | 1 pkg tapioca pudding 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding 1 box orange jello 2 c boiling water 1 c crushed pineapple 1 (8 oz) carton cool whip | Mix puddings and jello in saucepan with water. Cook till bubbly. Cool completely. Add pineapple & juice. Fold in cool whip. Chill. | Ingredients: | 16

18: Pistachio Salad | 1 small pkg instant pistachio pudding 1 small can crushed pineapple 1 medium container of cool whip 3/4 bag miniature marshmallows nuts (opt) | Combine pudding, pineapple, & nuts. Add cool whip and marshmallows. Chill. | Ingredients: | 17

19: 1 pint whipped cream 1 lb miniature marshmallows 1 lb cranberries (ground) 1 c sugar 15 oz can crushed pineapple, drained | Mix sugar with cranberries and let stand one hour. | Add pineapples and cranberries to whipped cream. Add marshmallows. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. | Ingredients: | Cranberry Salad | 18

20: 1-1/4 c graham cracker crumbs 1/3 c melted oleo 1/4 c sugar | Peach Jello Salad | Combine and press in 9x13'' pan. Chill 15 minutes. | Beat cream cheese; add powdered surgar and milk. Fold in cool whip. Spread over crust. | 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1/4 c milk 1/4 c powdered sugar 3-1/2 c cool whip | Ingredients: | Filling: | Peach Topping: | 4-6 peaches, sliced 2 T sugar | Sprinkle sugar on peaches. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain (or can use 16 oz can drained peaches). | Topping: | 1 pkg peach jello 3/4 c boiling water 1/2 c cold water, plus enough ice cubes to make 1-1/4 c | Stir slightly till thickened and pour over peached and cream cheese. Chill. Different flavors and fruit can be used. | 19

21: Finger Jello | 3 envelopes Knox Gelatin 3 c boiling water 1 (16 oz) box jello | Combine knox & jello. Add boiling water. Stir until well mixed. Put in dish and refrigerate until firm. | Ingredients: | 20

22: Broken Glass Dessert | 1 (3 oz.) pkg EACH of cherry, orange, and lime flavor gelatins 3 c boiling water 2 c cold water 1 c pineapple juice 1/4 c sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg lemon jello 2 c whipped topping | Prepare the three flavors of jello separately using 1 c. boiling water and 1/2 c. cold water for each. Pour each flavor into an 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm or overnight. | After gelatin is set, mix pineapple juice and sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved. | Remove from the heat and dissolve lemon gelatin in the hot juice; add 1/2 c. cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Cut the firm jello into 1/2 in. cubes. Mix the cubed jello with the lemon/pineapple mixture. | Pour into a deep bowl or 9x13'' glass baking dish and chill at least 5 hours or overnight. | 21

23: Layered Jello | 4 large boxes jello( Different colors) 2 (13 oz) cans evaporated milk | 1st layer: | 1/2 box any color jello 1-1/2 c. boiling water | Dissolve and pour into 9x13'' dish. Chill until firm. | 2nd layer: | 1/2 box of remaining jello 3/4 c boiling water | Dissolve, then add 3/4 c. evaporated milk. Pour over 1st layer & chill till firm. | Continue making layers until jello is gone. Will make 6 more layers. | From the Kitchen of: Grandma Smith | Ingredients: | 22

24: Corn Macaroni Casserole | 1 can creamed style corn 1 can whole kernel corn, undrained 1 c elbow macaroni, uncooked 1 stick margarine or butter 1/2 c to 1 c velveeta cheese, cubed | Mix all together. Put in greased casserole dish, 2-3 quart sized. You can top with buttered crumbs before baking. Can also be started in the microwave until bubbles start around the edges and then put in the hot oven until done. | From the Kitchen of: | Bernice Hoffart | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 1 hour | Ingredients: | 23

25: Sauerkraut and Spuds | 1 lg can sauerkraut several small potatoes cut fine 1 c mushroom soup 1/2 c mayonnaise Baco | Mix first 3 ingredients in casserole dish. | Top with mayonnaise and Baco. | Boil potatoes before adding to last 3 ingredients. | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 30 minutes | From the kitchen of: | Velma Vance | Ingredients: | 24

27: Basic Bread Stuffing (for a 12 lb. Turkey) | 2-1/2 c low fat chicken broth 3 onions, diced 6 c diced, dried bread crumbs (or croûutons) 1 T paprika 1/2 c egg substitute (or 2 eggs) Salt and pepper to taste | In a skillet, over medium-high, heat 1/2 c. of chicken broth. Add onions and cook for 10 minutes until the onions have softened. | In a bowl combine the cooked onions, remaining broth, bread, paprika, eggs, salt, and Pepper. Mix well. | Place mixture inside the cavity of a turkey or place it in a casserole dish. If stuffing is to be baked separately from the turkey, place the stuffing in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes. | Ingredients: | 25

28: 3/4 c butter 1-1/2 c sugar 2 eggs 3 c flour 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1-1/2 c mashed bananas 1 c nuts 1/4 c milk | Cream butter. Add sugar and mix well until light and fluffy. Add beaten eggs and blend well. | Banana Nut Bread | Sift flour, baking powder, salt & baking soda. Add milk to bananas. | Add alternately dry ingredients & banana mixture to creamed mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 40-45 minutes | 26 | Ingredients:

29: Name | Monkey Bread | 4 cans biscuits (not buttermilk) 2/3 c sugar 1 stick butter 2 tsp cinnamon 1 c brown sugar | Mix cinnamon and white sugar together. | Cut biscuits in half and dip in mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Bring brown sugar and butter to a boil. | Place 1/2 of the biscuits into a single layer in pan (not sure which size). Spoon half of the brown sugar and butter mixture on top of first layer. Place remaining biscuits on top of first layer. Top with remaining syrup. | After baking turn upside down at once on serving plate. | (Can use 1-1/2 c. brown sugar and 1-1/2 stick of butter to make more syrup. Raisins and nuts are optional. | Ingredients: | 27

30: 2/3 c butter or margarine, softened 1 c sugar 3 eggs 1-2/3 c milk 2-1/3 c flour 1 c cornmeal 4-1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt | Buttery Corn Bread | In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Combine the eggs and milk. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with egg mixture. | Pour into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cut into squares; serve warm. | Oven temp: 400 degrees | Time: 22-27 minutes | 28 | Ingredients:

31: Pumpkin Bread | 3-1/4 c flour 3 c white sugar 2 tsp baking soda 1-1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp ground nutmeg 1 tsp ground cinnamon 2 c solid pack pumpkin puree 2/3 c water 1 c vegetable oil 4 eggs 1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional) 1 c miniature chocolate chips (optional) | Grease and flour three 7x3 inch pans. Preheat oven. | Measure flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices into large bowl. Stir to blend. Add pumpkin, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and nuts. beat until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans. | Oven Temp: 350 degrees | Time: 45-60minutes | Ingredients: | 29

32: 2 cans refrigerated homestyle biscuits 3 T butter, melted 1 tsp garlic powder 1./2 tsp dried parsley 1 tsp minced onion 1 T grated parmesan cheese 1/3 c shredded mozzarella cheese | Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread | Preheat oven. | In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, minced onion and parmesan cheese. Spread mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch glass pie plate. Sprinkle the shredded mozzerella cheese evenly over the top of the butter mixture. | Remove biscuits from cans. Place biscuits close together over the top of the cheese and butter mixture. (You might not need all the biscuits.) | Bake biscuits in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let stand for 3 minutes. Turn biscuits upside down onto a serving plate. | Serve warm!!!!!!! | Oven Temp: 425 degrees | Time: 12 minutes | Ingredients: | 30

33: Quick Beer Bread | 3 c all purpose flour 1 T baking powder 1-1/2 tsp salt 1/4 c sugar 1 bottle (12 oz) Beer 4 T butter, melted | Oven Temp: 375 degrees | Time: 40-45 minutes | Preheat oven. Grease a standard size loaf pan. | Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a large bowl. Pour in the beer and stir until just combined. | Pour batter into the loaf pan and drizzle the melted butter on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. | Ingredients | 31

34: Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Quick Bread | 1/3 c white sugar 2 tsp ground cinnamon 2 c flour 1 T baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 c white sugar 1 egg beaten 1 c milk 1/3 c vegetable oil | Preheat oven. Lightly grease 1 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup sugar. Add egg, milk, and oil to flour mixture. | Stir until just moistened. Pour half of the batter into pan. | Oven temp: 350 degrees | Time: 45-50 minutes | Ingredients: | Mix cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar and sprinkle onto batter in the pan. | Cover with remaining batter. | Top with more cinnamon sugar mixture if desired. Bake until a tooth pick is inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. | Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Wrap in foil and let sit overnight before slicing. | 32

35: Snicker Doodle Bread | Ingredients: | 1/2 tsp salt 2-1/2 c flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp cinnamon 1 c butter softened 2 c sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 c sour cream 1 pkg Hershey's cinnamon chips 3 T sugar 2 tsp cinnamon | Cream butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. | Add vanilla and sour cream and mix well. | Add cinnamon chips and stir into batter. Set aside. | Spoon batter into 2 large bread pans. | Mix 3 T sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the batter in each loaf pan. | Mix flour and baking powder in separate bowl. Add to wet ingredients and mix until well combined. | Oven temp: 350 degrees Time: 60-70 minutes | 33
