FC: Ms. Woodyard's ELA Class: Experiencing Baked Apples

In Ms. Woodyard’s ELA class, we made baked apples. To record our hard work and cooking skills, we wrote down what we experienced through using the following senses: taste, smell, sight, and touch. We’ve worked very hard and here is the result of all of our work.

Today we will be cooking a delicious baked apple with raisins and cinnamon. First of all, it smelled like hot, spicy cinnamon that made it smell so delicious. Second of all, the apple tasted like cinnamon, raisins, kind of weird and buttery, and spicy. The apple was so delicious. One example, the apple tasted like an apple pie from McDonalds. Then, the apple felt squishy, slimy, and soggy. The apple looked like an old brown, wrinkly, steamy, and juicy apple. Then, the apple looked nasty but it actually tasted good. However, we had a great success by cooking the apple. By: Chris

In our class we made an apple recipe. We described the apple using our four senses that are smell, touch, taste, and vision. The smell was juicy, sweet, and it smelled like delicious cinnamon. The taste was burning to the tongue because the apple was really hot, but it still tasted like a sweet yummy apple. In my vision I saw the apple color and it was a yellowish golden, browned apple that looked old. The touch was a soft, heavy, weird shaped ball that also had a saggy skin. In the end the apple was really good and I really enjoyed it! By:Leslie Bernal

In my E.S.L class we made a baked apple. We used our senses to describe what we smelled, tasted, felt, and saw. First, I saw an old brown apple and it was as wrinkly as my grandma.
