FC: Our Third Grade Recipes Mrs. Trubee's Class 2011-2012
1: This Cookbook is inspired by all of the talented cooks in our classroom and our favorite family recipes.
2: Breakfast Burritos Ingredients: 1lb of sausage 1med. chopped onion) 2teaspoons of cumin powder salt and pepper quarter cup of salsa dozen and 1/2 of eggs American cheese tortilla Allie
3: Directions: brown sausage in skillet with chopped onion drain grease add cumin add salt and pepper to liking add salsa cook all until liquid evaporates add eggs cook until eggs are done add 10 slices cheese serve in soft tortilla Allie Green | I chose this recipe because every Thanksgiving morning my grandpa used to make breakfast burritos,but now my Aunt Shannon makes them. AWESOME
4: Festive Cranberry Pineapple Salad: Ingredients: *1 20oz can crushed pineapple (undrained) *1 package 8 servings or 2 4 servings of Raspberry flavored gelatin *1 can whole cranberry sauce *1 medium Granny Smith apple chopped
5: DIRECTiIONS: 1.)Drain pineapple and reserve the juice 2.)Remove 1tbs. of pineapple for garnish at the end. 3.)Add enough cold water to juice to make 3 cups 4.) Pour into a large saucepan and bring to a boil, and remove from heat. 5.) Add gelatin and stir at least 2 min. until the gelatin is dissolved. 6.)Add cranberry sauce and stir (it should be thick). 7. Pour into a large bowl. 8.)Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours and add the pineapple and the chopped apple. 9.) Put back in the fridge for 4 hours or until it is set. 10.)Garnish with 1 tbs. pineapple. 6: Ingredients: 16 cleaned and pitted mushrooms 4 oz lobster meat that has been diced 1 1/2 slices of hard-crumbled bread Directions: Mix together the bread and lobster meat. Season the stuffed mushrooms. Bake about 15 min. Then, broil for 1 min. Let cool and enjoy! | Stuffed Mushrooms

8: Deviled Eggs What you need : 12 - hard boiled eggs, 1/4 cup miracle whip dressing, 1/4 - yellow mustard . Make it . Cut eggs lengthwise in half. Remove the yolks and place into a small bowl. Add dressing and mustard. Mix well. Spoon mixture into the egg white halves. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

10: Macaroni & Cheese
11: Ingredients and Directions: | Boil a box of macaroni noodles until soft. Drain the noodles and place in a baking pan. Then, add 1/2 a stick of butter, salt and pepper to your liking, 1/2 c. of milk, cheese of your choice, and 1/4 can of Eagle Brand milk. Bake in an oven for 1 hr. | Alexander Blevins
12: Ingredients: 1 Large bag of hashbrowns 1 Large container of french onion chip dip 2 Cups of shredded cheddar cheese 0.5 stick of butter 2 cans of cream of chicken soup salt and pepper | Cheesy Potatoes
13: DIRECTIONS: | Mix all together in baking dish bake on 400 degrees for 1 hour. | I choose this recipe because we eat it every thanksgiving. | Ayden Rich
14: Brownies Ingredients: 2 cups of sugar 1 cup of flour 1 1/4 cups of butter melted 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla 1/2-1/3 cups of cocoa 4 eggs
15: Brownies | Janie Mitchell | Directions; Mix all ingredients together in no special order. Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake for thirty minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. | I choose this recipe because, my family has it almost every night for dessert. Also, my mom makes the best brownies ever. Plus, soon everybody will have to bring in the food from their recipes. So, I hope everybody will like the brownies.

17: Name | Monkey Bread | Ingredients and Directions: 4 cans of biscuits- cut in pieces, 1/2 cup of white sugar 2tb. of cinnamon mixed together - roll pieces in mixture put in a greased bunt pan 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1tb vanilla, 1 stick of butter melted -mix above 4 times together, pour over biscuit pieces in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn pan over on to big plate, let cool, lift plate, then enjoy!
18: No Bake Cookies | Ingredients: 2 c. sugar 1 stick of butter 2 1/2 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla | Directions: Mix and boil sugar, butter, milk and cocoa for 3 1/2 min. Remove from heat. Add oatmeal, peanut butter, and vanilla; blend. Beat and drop by spoonful onto wax paper. No need to bake, because they will harden by themselves.

20: Fudge Brownie Mix- Mix and bake according to package directions in a 9 x 13 pan and then cool completely. Cookie Dough Layer- 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white sugar cream butter and sugars together 2 tb. milk 2 tsp. vanilla add milk and vanilla to creamed mixture and mix well and then add in the following 1 c. flour spread the cookie dough layer over the cooled brownie layer and chill Chocolate Topping- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 tb.shortening melt together and spread into a thin layer over the cookie dough layer | Cookie Dough Brownies

22: Potato Candy | Ingredients: 1 small/med. sized potato 32 oz. bag of powdered sugar 2 tb. milk 2 tsp. vanilla peanut butter *optional- food coloring Directions: Cook potato in microwave until soft (at least 5 min.). Remove all the skin. Mash the potato and mix in the milk and vanilla. Then, add powder sugar until the mix has a dough-like consistency. Roll the dough mixture onto a cutting board and spread with peanut butter.

24: Ingredients: 4 1/2 c. all purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 c. softened butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 2 (3.4 oz) packs of instant vanilla pudding mix 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. white chocolate chips 2 c. milk chocolate chips | Chewy White Chocolate Chip Cookies | Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour and baking soda and set aside. Cream together in a large bowl; butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the pudding mix until well blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the four mixture and mix in the chocolate chips. Drop cookies by the spoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 min.

27: DIRECTIONS: | Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together and pour into the pie crust. Bake for 45 min. | Colten Harden

29: Directions and Ingredients: Filling: 1/2 c. of water 2 eggs 4 tb. melted butter or margarine crust and 3 tb. melted butter or margarine Before you begin, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 1. Mix your filling mix: water, eggs, 4 tb. melted butter or margarine together in a medium bowl until smooth. Allow to sit while the crust bakes. 2. Place crust mix in medium bowl and add 3 tb. melted butter or margarine and stir with a fork until moistened. 3. Spoon the crust mixture into prepared pan and press evenly into the bottom of the pan and bake for 5 min. 4. Whisk the filling mixture again and poor into the hot crust. 5. Bake in an 8x8x2 inch pan for 26-30 min. and a 9 inch pan 28-32 min. or until set and the center does not jiggle when lightly shaken. 6. Allow to cool before cutting. Makes 16 servings.
