2: MAMA'S Cooking From The Heart In Memory Of Our Loved Ones' Cook-Book. Dear Readers, This cookbook is about a group of mothers who have captured the memories of their loved ones by sharing their favorite foods with the world. Mothers Against Murderers Association (MAMA) was founded in memory of a young man, (Torrey Donnell Manuel) who had a promising future, but lost his life at an early age to a senseless act of violence. It is our goal to not only make a difference in the world, but also to make a difference for those who have lost loved ones to violence. Each member of this organization has gathered up their tears and turned them into stories, or shall I say, into visions of memories titled Cooking from the Heart. MAMA's motto is "Never give up. Know that it's never too late to achieve your dreams." We embraced a vision that represents our loved ones and our need to keep their legacies & memories alive. Your support and donations will help us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of deserving youths, and families. Visit us on the web at: mothersagainstmurderersassn.org or write to us at: MAMA; 2100 45th Street, Unit B-5; West Palm Beach, FL. 33407. Enjoy

39: A TRIBUTE TO MY SON Torrey Donnell Manuel (August 18th, 1973 January 1st, 2003) Mothers against Murderers Association, Inc. I often think of the many times we made plans I often think of the times we just simply said I love you to one another. I often think of your smile it is planted in my heart I often think of you, and wonder what you would Be doing if you were here. I often hear your voice in my head when I began to Cry because I miss you so much, I know if you were Here you would say mama don't cry it will be alright. I often think of the last time you kissed and hugged me And said mom I’ll see you later. I often think of all the brave young men and womens fighting for all of us to be able to live in freedom and it is so sad that we cannot even get alone with our next door neighbors. I often think of you Torrey and hold your memory close In my heart, I will continue to fight for peace And keep your memory alive, by giving back to children Who are less fortunate than others Violence is like depression it hurts everyone. Love Always: Mom Georgie Dixon

43: Poem By: Vice President (Artie Williams) Our Kids -Vs-The Streets They Can't Win.

44: Our Kids -vs- The Streets they can't win Just take a moment to look around and tell me what you see Your friends, your neighbor, and even your kids have chosen The Streets. So where do we turn or what do we do? How do we let them know that the decisions they make can cost them, also have a lifetime affect on you. Somewhere between then and now our kids have taken the wrong path, things used to be funny now we can no longer laugh. But it's not too late to pull them back and release those street ties. Because our goal is not only to educate them but also to save their lives. Is it the drug dealers, peer pressure, just what or who is to blame? or should we just stand and look in the mirror and call our own name. But we do know in order for the answer to be found, we must first pray and then maintain strong religious grounds. So Lord we ask you to be there not just now and then, because when it comes to Our Kids-VS- The Streets They Can't Win. We all want our kids to have the best, to succeed, but not at any cost. Because there is to much hurt, pain, and depression when you're trying to cope with a loss. Pain in our hearts that we sometimes hide, and don't wanna share although Lord you have told us the burden is yours And all our pain you would bare. So Lord you see we really do need you and we need you now. We need you to give us that special sign that shows us how to save our kids, and end this on going trend. Because when it comes to Our Kids -VS- The Streets They Can't Win... Author : Vice President Artie Williams
