FC: Alicia Appleman-Jurman May 9, 1930 Rosulna, Poland
1: Alicia Appleman saved a group of Russian Partisans and was awarded a medal for heroism by the Russians. She tried to save her people She cared for Jewish orphans who had survived the death camps. She became a soldier. Alicia was a very brave woman and girl.
4: BAD EXPERIENCE A police officer told Alicia she could no longer attend school because her family was forced to move to the worst section of Buczaca. The ghetto for Jews. She wanted to be in school so badly she climbed a tree to look in her former classroom to learn lessons. She fell out of the tree and the teacher was forced to tell her to stay away.
5: Good Experience Alicia survived the war and the holocaust. She and her mother returned to Buczaca. She found her friend Mileic, he had survived. Her mother was then shot. Alicia was at the end of the group and her and a few others escaped.
