3: Pharaohs | The Pharaohs were gods and kings. They were the highest people on the Social Pyramid. Two of the famous Pharaohs in Egyptian time were King Tutankhamen and Queen Cleopatra.
4: Government Offcials - Nobles and Priests | They helped the Pharaohs to collect the taxes. They supervise the taxes. One of the government offcials is Maya. He was important because he wears a lot of fancy clothes.
6: Soldiers | The soldiers are very organized. They carried spears and shields. They did the government projects, digging irrigation canals, and did transporting stones for the king. | www.touregypt.net/festurest
8: Scribes | Scribes learned to read and write. They can become a pharaoh. Their jobs were accountants, priests, doctors, and government officials.
10: Merchants | Merchants are most like traders. They traded products from Egypt and other countries.
12: Artisans | They made things for the pharaoh. They made things like metalwork, jewelry, wall painting, and crafts.
14: Farming | Pharaohs owned the farmers. They worked long hours. They did plowing, haresting, and worked on the pharaoh's tomb.
16: Slaves & Servants | They were the last of the social pyramid. They did household work. Slaves were bought and sold.
