6: Greek Dramatic Festivals Greek Dramatic Festivals were led by drunk men who would dress in costume, sing and play in choruses to welcome their gods.
8: How many actors were allowed in one play? There were only three actors allowed per play.
10: What were plays Like? They were usually preformed in the daytime in an amphitheater. Drama events could sometimes lasted several days. In the plays there was little to no scenery and actors used masks to show feelings and facial expressions.
12: How was violence portrayed? It was portrayed as tragedy. Real violence was forbidden in front of an audience. Usually a narrator would inform the audience if someone was killed.
14: Other Important Information The costume an actor wore showed their gender, if they were rich or poor, and their occupation.
