3: Enacted in 1935. Deprived citizenship cant marry,or have sexual relations with Aryan. | 1st Law: "The protection of German blood and German Honor." | 2nd Law: "The Reich Citizenship Law."

4: November 9 + 10, 1938 | KRISTALLNACHT | Violent wave of anti-Jewish pogroms | Shards of Broken Glass | Instigated by Nazi Party officials. Synagogues, homes, and Jewish-owend businesses were all destroyed

5: 25 months documented | Anna Frank's Diary | Received on her 13th birthday | All entries were written to her imaginary friend kitty | She wrote about daily life, her hopes, dreams, feuds and frustrations,and her hope for freedom | many notebooks written in.

6: Auschwitz gas chamber January 1945 | Forced Labor | medical-experiments | Black wall (SS guards executed prisoners) | largest of its kind established | 1938 first 100 prisoners transported in... | Spread of disease | Beatings and punishments | Solitary confinement, standing at attention for hours, whipping, and hanging from posts. | starvation and malnutrition | estimated 500 inmates died per day | 13,000 corpses littered around camp | Bulldozers had to be used to bury the bodies | Bergen-Belsen: | Flossenburg:

7: Sachsenhausen: | Held 1,600 prisoners. | June 1941 269 prisoners sent to killing center f0r being unfit to work. | 12,00 POW's sent here most shot shortly after arrival | April 22,1945 Sachsenhausen is liberated | Sobibor: | 2nd killing camp | Camouflaged by the natural woods. | 50 feet wide minefield around the camp. | 3 parts: Administration, reception, and a killing area. | Regular gassing operations. | Buchenwald: | constructed 1937 | no women until 1943 or 1944. | Automatic machine guns. | northern part = medical experiments

8: July 6, 1942 the franks go into hiding.

9: Miep & Jan Gies, Bep Voskuijl , Jo Kleiman, & Victor Kugler

10: August 4, 1944 ; The Franks, Van Daans, & Mr. Dussel got arrested.

11: Anne & Margo Frank were sent to the concentration camp, Bergen-Belsen on October 28, 1944

12: Margot & Anne frank died of typhus, a couple days apart on march 1945

13: May 7, 1945 | German soldiers surrender
