3: Dylan: Mr. Nunn, what can I do next? Mr. Nunn: I’m open to ideas, Dylan. We could paint, make sculptures, work with... Maria: Oh, I know! We can have a class art show! At Maria’s suggestion, our friends became very interested in a class art show. We looked through our teacher’s art history book and found some inspiration for our work in the target paintings by Jasper Johns. We practiced sketching our own compositions, painting on large paper, and mixing media. We signed our work, hung our work for parents, friends, and teachers to see, and made a sign to announce our art show.
