FC: The Community of Farmer Elementary
Dedicated to the students of Farmer Elementary School
James E Farmer Elementary School is a community.
From the teachers to the students and their families, the members of this school work together every day to make Farmer a better school.
The teachers work to help students gain knowledge and grow. They teach students new information and work with students to make sure that everyone is learning.
Teachers are very involved in their students’ lives. They ask students about their days and genuinely care about how students are feeling. This makes the students at Farmer feel safe with their teachers.
The office staff at Farmer offers a smiling face to any new visitor. The principal, Ms. Conlon, visits classrooms and students around Farmer to observe their progress and learning.
The parents of Farmer students help teachers with their daily classroom work. They help with field trips, classroom activities, and school-wide events.
The students at Farmer really work hard. They study, learn, investigate, discover, and challenge each other to grow as much as they can. No matter what they look like, all of the students at Farmer try to work together.
The students at Farmer are always ready to display their learning. Some are good at Math, others at Art, and still others at physical activities. But no matter who the student is, | they are all good at lots of things. Farmer Elementary works to foster these talents and skills every day.
The Arts are very important at Farmer Elementary School. Farmer offers students Suzuki violin lessons, band, and orchestra. Students can learn how to play one of many different instruments while they are in school at Farmer.
Although there isn’t much around Farmer Elementary, teachers use the local creek and fields to teach students Science and Social Studies.
Farmer unfortunately doesn't have a playground, but that doesn't stop the students from going outside to exercise. Physical fitness is very important at Farmer and teachers try to take their students outside at least once a day.
Some students walk to school and others ride a bus from a long way away. Some students live less than a minute away and others live 30 minutes away. But no matter how far a student is from Farmer, they can call the school home.
Every student loves Farmer Elementary School. It doesn’t matter where we come from or what we are good at, we are all a very important part of the community of James E Farmer Elementary School.
