4: Life As A Kid | These children are dressed in traditional fustanellas. This photo shows children during Greek Independence Day, March 25th. | Children in Greece learn the alphabet like we do, but some of their letters look different than ours do. Their alphabet has 24 and ours has 26 letters.

5: Researched and Written by Macy | Soccer is the national sport for Greece. Greeks start soccer when they are young. The Greek National Soccer Team competes worldwide.

6: Interesting Places or Things To Know | Mount Olympus is one of the biggest mountains in the world. Some of the Greek Gods lived on Mount Olympus. It's peak is often frosted with snow. | Researched and Written by Logan

7: The Parthenon was built almost 2,500 years ago. It is made out of fine white marble. It was built for the Greek goddess, Athena. This is how the Parthenon looks now. It is ruins now, but it still stands today.

8: Land and Animals | These are wild boars. Since people have been killing wild boars, there are only 120 wild boars left in Greece. | Pine martens are very fast. Pine martens also like snow. They love to climb trees. | Researched and Written by Alexander

9: There are lots of pelicans next to fishing villages living on over the 2,000 islands of Greece. | Lots and lots of sheep are in Greece. They also raise lambs. They use the wool of the sheep to make sweaters. They also eat a lot of lamb.

10: Favorite Foods | The Greeks eat lots of seafood. The Greeks' favorite is fish. The Greeks also like the lobster. | The Greeks love lamb and they cook it on the spit (barbeque). | This is tzatziki. It is made out of cucumber, garlic and yogurt. It is one of the most popular foods in Greece. | Greeks love to eat olives, feta cheese and olive oil.!
