2: Perception of Beauty in India | In India they approach beauty in a more simple way. The women are very well known for their beautiful skin and hair. A lot of places in India also believe that heavier women are more attractive. Beauty is more on the inside to them.

5: Indian women may use homemade remedies to beautify themselves. They wear sari's, which are hand made and usually very well designed and original. The sari's are very well decorated and detailed with bead and crystal work that make the sari one of a kind. The women get henna tattoos to show a story about themselves. Kohl is a make up that both men and women use. Kohl stands for eyeliner, lip color, and hair shining oils. The lip color is made from berries and red minerals mixed together with fine oil. A lot of people there like to stick to the traditional make up which is used for rituals and ceremonies and requires a lot of effort. | Beauty Practices
