2: Perception of Beauty in India | In India they approach beauty in a more simple way. The women are very well known for their beautiful skin and hair. A lot of places in India also believe that heavier women are more attractive. Beauty is more on the inside to them.
5: Indian women may use homemade remedies to beautify themselves. They wear sari's, which are hand made and usually very well designed and original. The sari's are very well decorated and detailed with bead and crystal work that make the sari one of a kind. The women get henna tattoos to show a story about themselves. Kohl is a make up that both men and women use. Kohl stands for eyeliner, lip color, and hair shining oils. The lip color is made from berries and red minerals mixed together with fine oil. A lot of people there like to stick to the traditional make up which is used for rituals and ceremonies and requires a lot of effort. | Beauty Practices

8: India has very high poverty levels due to its massive population. People that live in villages find themselves closer together so they have a tie that makes them equal. Children seem happier in villages. When you get into the city, financial divides are much more pronounced. People in cities seem to be having a hard time staying in good conditions because they have no support. | Development/Quality of Life in India
11: The most dominant religion in India is Hinduism. Hinduism includes worshiping different types of gods and goddesses. It is a very peaceful religion because they respect animals and trees. Other minor religions that are present in India include Islam, Christianity, Jainism, and Judaism. | Religion in India

13: Different parts of India have different languages. Bihar in East India has three official languages. They are Hindi, Urdu and Bengali. All of those languages are recognized by the central government. The main language is Hindi because thats how the government wanted it but there is still other very well recognized languages.

A:It was negatively affected the concept of beauty because it eludes to always praise the materialistic and often inaccurate display of outer beauty to assume it is true beauty.
15: Q:How has media affected you? A:"It has tricked me to believe that being slender is the only way to be beautiful and I find myself desiring a so called "perfect body"." Q:Can both skinny and fat people be healthy? A:"I believe that skinny alone is not healthy. There has to be a balance between nutrition, exercise and a slim waist line. Q:Can you be old and beautiful? A:Yes, becoming a senior citizen is yet another respectable and beautiful stage of life.

17: Q:How has media affected you? A:"I don't really let the media affect me. I wear skinny jeans but I get the trend from my sister." Q:Can both skinny and fat people be healthy? A:Yes because there are people that are fat and healthy but their metabolism is slow. Q:Can you be old and beautiful? A:"Yes because there is a really pretty 60 year old lady living next door" Q:Does she look like she's 60? A:"No, she looks 30." Q:Why does she look 30 to you? A:"She doesn't have wrinkles or white hair and she's really tan."
