22: Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind. Retold by Mary Pope Osborne | Once there was a man named Davy Crockett who was sleeping and his head got stuck in the crotch of the tree. Davy screamed and hollered as loud as he could until a young lady came. That young lady was known as Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind. He soon fell in love with her because of the wonderful stories people told about her. One of Sally Ann's good friends told about a time when Sally had a confrontation with a bear. Sally soon whipped the bear off his feet and they started to dance. These kind of stories made Davy fall even more in love with her, until he finally asked Sally Ann if she wanted to be his wife and she said yes! | Summary
23: Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind and Davy Crockett had a very special love together. I feel that I too have a very special bond with people, especially my family members. Maybe I don't have quite the relationship that Sally Ann and Davy had but my family and I love each other very much and we are also very close. My family and I would do anything for each other because having a loving relationship with each other is the most important thing. I feel that "love" is one of the most important cultural values because that shows people how you really feel about them being in your life. I also think that Sally Ann and Davy's relationship shows "love" perfectly. | Reflection
