My Character is Lena (Mama). Mama is a strong motivated force. She is very religious and believes in a Christian home. Her strong faith and deep religious convictions give her the psychological and physical mettle she needs in order to rise to life's challenges. Mama seems to be accustomed to suffering and enduring hardships, the world cannot disturb her inner peace.
 d grace.
Mamas dream is to own a house with a garden and a yard for her grandson to play in. Material wealth does not matter to her. Mama’s dream is also to make her kids life better. She wants to help her kids as much as she can, for even her dream of having a house is motivated only by her desire to make living conditions better for her family.
All things grow better with love. The obstacles that stand in her way is her children Walter wants the insurance money to start a liquor store and Beneatha needs it to go to school. She wants to help both of her kids as much as she can. As her name suggests, Lena's entire family "leans on" her and draws from her strength in order to replenish their own. cited; http://www.cliffsnotes.com/study_guide/literature/A-Raisin-in-the-Sun-Character-Analysis-Mama-Lena-Younger-.id-150,pageNum-29.html#ixzz1BVJXAJKV
I am a very kind and loving person. I like to help people as much as I can. I want to be more then what I think I am going to be. I love my family they mean the world to me. My dream is to graduate high school and go to college. I also want to have a job I love which I don’t know what job yet but I will one day and when I find out then that’s what I want. Some obstacles that I have endured is in 8th grade I quite school and did not go back for a year. It was hard to go back after so long and at the end of the year and passed the entire test. Another obstacle is the GHGT. I am so scared I will not pass and that will take me longer to graduate.
