3: There once was a class named language arts The kids in it always had so much smarts Every day they came prepared And all the students always shared The kids in this class are clever sweethearts Some days we read While different students lead Now we are reading Romeo and Juliet And some of us don't know our parts yet Practicing is what we need When it's time to take a test We know we have to do our best We must do it on our own, we cant get any help We just have to perform like Michael Phelps When it's done then we can rest | Language Arts Limerick | When we are assigned a paper to write You can make it heavy or it can be light It could be an autobiography or fiction Make sure to check your diction And make it interesting and bright When our class time is done We feel that we have won Our grades will go in the book And all we have to do is take a look Hopefully the grade will be as bright as the sun

9: My mother's kitchen is filled with strawberries From the dishes to the walls With vines and leaves of green Cascading like strawberry falls Mom's nickname was strawberry And it stuck all her life As strawberry gifts rolled in For every occasion In the back door of the kitchen comes my sister With her short strawberry red hair A strawberry cheesecake bakes And she's just in time to smell Its aroma baking in the oven | My Mother's Kitchen | Asleep on the cool wood floor is my Eskie You would think she is dead But don't let her fool you She would be up like a shot If you dropped an egg Many often wonder Your Mom must love strawberries She sure has so many in her kitchen All these strawberries would not be my selection But it suits her to perfection This is my mother's kitchen
