The Aztecs is a very amusing place. There are many different aspects to this culture which make it very rich and interesting to learn about. This book will talk about Aztecs elements of culture of technology, housing, government, and education.

An interesting element of culture is technology. An important of technology is weapons. The artifact is important because they needed weapons to protect their tribe and to attack animals for food some weapons that they used were knifes, bows, and arrows and spears. They needed weapons to darts and spear throwers called Atlatl.

An important element of culture is education. An interesting artifact is school. This artifact is important because they needed school so they could learn how to do the daily work that their parents did. There were three different schools: 1 that was for girls and 2 that were for boys.

An important element of culture that we learned about was housing. An interesting artifact was flooring. This artifact was very important because they had dirt flooring so they used rugs or mats to cover the dirt floor. The mats were made of grass reeds or straw. The mats were really little and usually only covering the corners of the floor.

An important element of culture that we learned about is Government. A cool artifact is Slaves. The artifact was important because other people could do their work for them. The Slaves would become a slave in two ways. One way to become a slave is if you committed a crime. The second way to become a slave is if you volunteer to help your family a place to stay and food to eat. I learned that it would be very hard to live in the 1492 if you were a slave.
