1: We loved watching plays and other movies, even if they had no sound! | Flappers. Untraditional, odd, but entertaining.
2: Our new tractor made life so much easier! | Visiting Cousin Lue in the city was so much fun with our new Ford Model T!
3: We loved watching Babe Ruth and Bill Tilden too. | The best book ever!
4: Stocks gave us so much money! | Our new home. We redid the farm to be more modern. We have getting so much money from life!
5: Louis Armstrong and his "What a Wonderful World!" (below) | We bought this photo at a concert once.
6: The jitterbug was my wife and my favorite dance. | I loved Calvin Coolidge. He was my absolute favorite president!
7: Harry Houdini was the best magician ever! | Bessie Smith was my favorite musician!
8: Wings. The first best sound movie ever!
9: We loved playing Mah Jongg! Too bad it was just a fad.
10: Charlie Chaplin- our favorite silent movie star!
11: We loved listening to The Witches' Tale. It is the best radio show I have ever heard!
12: The Beginning Of The End- Black Tuesday. Now, there is nothing growing on our farm.
13: At least we aren't as bad as Cousin Lue in the city.
14: Hoover is not doing much to help. | At least don't have to leave.
15: The Dust Bowl hit hard.
16: At least Cousin Lue and we are not forced on breadlines, or welfare.
17: President Roosevelt is our only chance left. | Let us hope his New Deal helps out.
