FC: How does your media product represent particular social groups?

1: The social group portrayed in our film is shown through our main character. He is a bit of a waster who is involved with drugs and violence. We thought this was suitable for our main character in a crime and gangster film to be stereotypical to those in other crime and gangster films. We got this stereotype from researching into films such as 'Goodfellas' and 'Taxi Driver'.

2: Characteristics that our character has | - White, ripped shirt. Like he has been in a fight or attacked. - Blood down his face and on his hands like he had been punching someone or has been beaten up. - Smartly dressed. Most characters within the crime and gangster genre are portrayed as being smart and classy but hiding a dirty secret.

3: Resemblance to main character in 'Taxi Driver.' | - Blood down on his hands indicating he has been in a fight. - Blood on his shirt to show that characters in crime and gangster films are smart and classy but they are really violent. - The theme of violence being portrayed. This is an important element in crime and gangster films.
