1: History of the Hamburgers | A 15-year old named Charlie Nagreen invented the hamburger in 1885. Until the McDonald's brothers came up with the modern fast-food system, hamburgers weren't attractive to most people.
2: McDonald's | McDonald's was first opened at San Bernardino, CA, in 1948. It was called McDonald Brothers Burger Bar Drive-In, and they came up with a new system that was the foundation of the modern McDonald's and other fast-food chains.
3: Burger King | Keith g. Cramer ate at McDonald's, and opened the first burger king with his father-in-law.
4: Taco Bell | Glen W. Bell, World War II veteran also ate at McDonald's and founded the restaurant chain, Taco Bell.
5: KFC | Harland Sanders was the man to find the Kentucky Fried Restaurant chain. He dressed up as a colonel to gain attention.
6: Workers | Workers in most fast-food restaurant chains work for long hours, but get low wage.
7: Fast food restaurants often puts color additives in their sodas. One of the sources of these color additives is made from the dead bodies of small bugs named Dactylopius coccus costa. | Color Additives
8: Kids | Fast-Food chains target kids when they are marketing because they can bring in a lot of money by convincing their parents.
9: Meat | The cows and chickens that are to be slaughtered live in poor living condition. Chickens are slaughtered cruelly by rotating blades or "scald tank" that boils chickens to death.
10: Fries | McDinakd's uses meat flavoring on French fries, when they say that McDonald French fries are cooked in pure vegetable oil and could be eaten by vegetarians
11: Soda | Fast-food chains earn a lot of profit by selling sodas. Drinking too much soda as a child may lead to calcium loss and a greater likelihood of broken bones.
