1: My family is a nuclear family! There are two adults and two children. We have two cats too! What is your family structure?
2: Does your family speak a different language? What are some of your family's favorite expressions? | Our family speaks English. We use many expressions such as "Google it" and "Text them". As the Mom of the family, my favorite expression is "Love you! Be careful!
3: Our family worships on Sundays. We listen to the minister's sermon, pray and sing. | When we join the church, we are baptized. In the Methodist Church, the minister sprinkles water on your head. | What are some of your religion practices? When do you worship? Do you have a special prayer rug or prayer necklace?
4: What are some of your family traditions? | In our family, the grandmother always passes down something that has special meaning. Grandma Pearl made quilts, Grandma Peggy cross-stitches Christmas stockings, and Great Grandma Stella passed down her favorite cooking bowl!
5: Our family loves to travel! We take a big trip every two years! One of our favorite places we've visited was California! This is a picture of the Ferris Wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. What does your family like to do together?
6: What activities do you most enjoy doing with your family? | Our family and friends enjoy swimming and fishing at the lake too!
8: We love the holidays! Can you guess which holiday this egg represents?
9: Christmas is our favorite holiday! What holidays do your family celebrate?
10: Birthdays are also celebrated in our family. How do you celebrate birthdays?
12: Does your family have a traditional or favorite meal? Our family enjoys a big plate of spaghetti!
13: Asian take-out food is also a favorite!
14: What responsibilities do you have as member of your family? I wash clothes! There is a lot of laundry for four people!
15: Do you share responsibilities? My family shares my responsibilities when I need help.
16: What roles do your parents have in your family? In our family, both parents work. The Dad builds cars and the Mom works at a school.
17: And the Mom and Dad work together to be good parents and complete house chores.
18: Families come in many sizes and have many different customs and traditions. That is what makes them unique!
