FC: Sweitzer Third block Constitution
1: Preamble- "We the almighty students of coach Sweitzer's third block promise to be respectful, grateful and responsible behind the doors of SS3. We come to school to acknowledge our education, not to play around. As peculiar students we agree to work hard, study, and earn good grades.. We do ordain ans establish this Sweitzer third block Constitution."
2: Article 1 1.) Students should be able to listen to iPods, and mp3 players at all time, except for when the teacher is talking. 2.) Student should be able to go to the bathroom whenever they have to use it. What you missed out on is your fault. 3.) All quizzes are able to be made up, if there's a low grade is low. Projects can be done to make your grade higher. 4.) If you leave your laptop you should be able to use a friend's laptop. 5.) If someone disrespects you, you should have the right to defend yourself.
3: The beginning of class should start off with an overview of what will be discussed in class. Student news comes on, and bell ringer will be completed and turned in as a form of a Vin-Diagram or class discussion board. Class will then continue as notes and examples of things.
4: Article 2: American Students Legislative branch- One house Must maintain an 80% average in class. Must have a positive and respectful attitude towards others. Makes useful laws for their fellow classmates Includes of 6 members at the most. Elected by classmates and teacher. Article 3: Judicial branch- Must maintain an 85% average Must have a positive and respectful attitude towards others. Interpret and vote on things the class needs. 5 members at the most. Elected by the Executive branch.
5: Article 4: Executive branch- Must maintain and 90% or higher average. Must have a positive and respectful attitude towards others. Elected by classmates and teacher. Have to be an honored member. Carry out and enforce laws. 10 members at the most.
6: Article 5: Yes, our class will by determine our activities for the day by voting. We will vote for our activities, projects, and learning environment. We will vote by a raise of hands. If the votes are a tie the three branches will determine our activities for that day, or Coach Sweitzer will plan our activities.
7: Article 8: We wish to mandate, going on field trips, learning hands on, more activities on the computer, less notes, yet study by playing games with our classmates. We should takes at least three field trips such as; D.C. to see all the exhibits of our past presidents or maybe a tour of the White House. Raleigh would be a great trip to see the capitol of our state and to see where out three branches meet. We do wish to mandate these activities.
8: Article 11: If changes need to be made later the legislative branch will make the rules with the class approval, then the Judicial branch will interpret on the rules to determine weather there acceptable or not. The executive branch will enforce the rules. Coach Sweitzer can veto the rules, but if the executive branch think that the rules need to be enforce they can enforce them without Sweitzer approval.
