FC: who i am.
2: symbols. | The music note represents music and the influential role it plays in my life. Music has significantly changed my life for the better and is something I listen to everyday. I also think music gives people a different perspective on different societies. | The Special Olympics provides people with both intellectual and physical disabilities with an opportunity to play a competitive sport. People with special needs have played a significant role in my life and I am a avid volunteer for their events.
3: The Breast Cancer Symbol represents the fight against Breast Cancer. This became more important to me when my grandmother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year. | The black cross represents death and the people I have lost in my life. This past winter, I lost my Grandfather. He served as the unity of our family and brought all of us together.
4: I chose the United Way logo because it represents service to my community. As a co-leader of the Youth Board I spent countless hours volunteering and preparing for events. I value spending my time to helping to make someones life a little bit easier. | values and norms. | Another thing I value is being able to work hard for the things that you want in life. The things in life worth having are not going to come easy and hard work is essential to being successful in life. I strive to work hard in all things that I chose to be apart of. I also have great respect for people who work hard to be where they are in their life.
5: This is a picture of my brother and I with my mom on her birthday. Each year we celebrate birthdays as a family and have Dairy Queen ice cream cake. We don't eat dinner together very often but this is something each person tries to be home for. | Each holiday at my grandparents house, my cousins and I play a massive game of "spoons". The game always gets intense and one year we played with forks and ended up putting one in the ceiling. This is something we have all been doing my entire life.
6: School is something that is very important to me and something I dedicate the majority of my time too. Doing well and school and getting a good job is something I have worked hard towards my entire life. | Racing is something that is very important to both myself and my family. My grandfather, uncles, father and cousins all race and it is something we do as a whole family. Each week my entire family goes to Wisconsin International Raceway to support my cousins.
7: material culture and technology. | My grandmother gave me a ring that was given to her when she was in school. The ring means a lot to me because it is something that represents a great accomplishment in her life and I hope someday it will represent something great for me.
8: In free time, I enjoy working out and taking Zumba classes with many of my friends. It is a fun way to get a good work out and have a good time with friends. | My phone and computer are very important to me and play a significant role in both my life and in todays society. | i enjoy shopping and working at Aerie in the mall. I like helping people and being a part of the retail world.
9: i am a DECA officer and spend a lot of my time working on DECA events and preparing for competition. This year at district competition double medaled and took second place in the Apparel and Accessories category. | free. | This is a picture at United Way Teen Symposium this past year. I spend the majority of my free time volunteering and truly enjoying helping people and the organizations I am a part of.
