We just got off the bus!

Mr. Robby is showing us some items Civil War soldiers would use. He is showing us how they would stay warm if they were really cold at night.

I loved going to Mr. Robby, he was so funny! I can't believe times were that hard on the soldiers. I would hate to be a Civil War soldiers!

After we has some fun with Mr. Robby we went over to Mr. butch and Ms. Margaret. Mr. Butch told us about the Creek Indians.

Wow, Ms. Margaret brought us down to the fresh water spring that the Harrison's used to wash and store milk.

When Ms. Margaret brought us down to the the spring she told us many things. I found out that the Harrison's took baths in the same water, gross! One thing i really didn't like was that boys had to bring full buckets of water all the way from the spring to the house!

After the creek we got on the tractor, Mr. butch said he was going to take us on a hayride!

After the hayride we went over to the log house. When we got there we met Ms. Mellisa.

When we got inside the log house we sat down on the floor and Ms. Mellisa said that it took three months to make a shirt for a kid. She also said the girls were the ones who made the clothes.

This is what the kitchen looked like.

After the log house we went down to the cellar with Ms. Jeanene. She showed us how the Harrison's would store food for the winter, like squirrels.

After the cellar we went out to the Medicine Garden. there we learned that different plants can heal you depending on what symptoms you have. +++

After the medicine garden we went to learn about how to make candles.

After the candles we went over to the family cemetery. We also learned that they didn't name their babies until six months of age.

After the cemetery we went over to the smoke house. I learned that the Harrison's, to store food, they would put food on shelves on poor salt ALL over them to keep them fresh for months.

After the smoke house we learned about how their cotton. Then we got to pick our own cotton.!

After the smoke house we went over to the field. There we met Mr. Hank, he trans Border Collies to round sheep, this dogs name is Cap.

After Mr. Hank we settled down and had lunch.

attention. | Grab bullet. | Get bullet out of paper | load bullet | FIRE | Watching Mr. Robby fire his gun was cool, what a field trip.
