1: Why The U.S Got Involved... | Germany invaded Poland without warning. As a result Britain and France sought war on Germany. The United Sates was and ally of Germany so when Germany was attacked the U.S Government got involved.

2: When Did The U.S Get Involved? | The Unites States entered World War II on December 8th 1941 after the Japanese dropped bombs in the Pacific, and in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

3: How Did the War Start? | The immediate causes of WWII was the German invasion of Poland in 1939. Shortly after, the Japanese attacked and began invading China and Manchuria and the many other colonies belonging to the U.S. the British and the Dutch

4: Which countries were involved in the war | Poland Germany United states Japan China Italy Austria Hungary Slovakia Bulgaria Soviet Union United Kingdom

6: Weaponry of WWII

7: Rifles- effective for long range shooting. Requires manual reloading after every shot. Machine Guns- Capable of continuous and fast rate of automatic fire. Simple and cheap machinery. Not very distant and accuracy was low. pistols- Very Short but effective range. Not usually expected to be a soldiers main fighting weapon, but do come in handy for airmen senior officers and non-combat soldiers. Hand Grenades- Personal artillery that can be carried in soldier's pockets. Extremely lethal yet simple and easy to use.

8: Rosie The Riveter | Rosie the Riveter represents the American women who worked in factories during the WWII. These women took the jobs of those men who were in the military out fighting in the war. Rosie the Riveter is a feminist icon in the United States. Women took on male jobs and dominated trades during the war. Women were expected to go back to everyday housework after the men returned from war. Instead, many women chose to stay in the factory work. Rosie the Riveter caused a social movement that increased the number of working women by 57% from 1940 to 1944.

10: WWII & the Great Depression | The United States had to manufacture weapons, bullets, uniforms, and many other things needed for the war. This created many jobs for the unemployed citizens. Also, while the men were being drafted the women had to go to work which added another income to their families. WWII, though devastating as it was, opened a lot of opportunities for the victims of the Great Depression.
