FC: O U R H E R O | Dennis C. Hurley
1: This is dedicated to, one of many heroes, who have stood side by side to protect the freedom of this great land we call America. We call our hero: husband, father, grandfather, and soon to be great grandfather. Our hero has dedicated his retired years to meeting the needs of those less fortunate than himself. He, along with others, give freely of his time and strength to those who are hurting and suffering. The Wyoming County Honor Guard, as they are called, travel many miles to pay their last respects to their fallen comrades . They perform "the Folding of the Flag" ceremony and present the flag to the grieving families. Followed by the 21 gun salute. As the Bugle sadly plays the taps they say their final farewell. He as well as others, do these things while sick and hurt. His list of accomplishments could go on and on, he is our inspiration, as to all that know him. What else can be said but in the words of our hero "God Bless America"!
