Windows of time No reason or rhyme We reminisce We have watched and wished Some panes are murky Faces blurry Some panes are bright Faces of light Friends have come Hearth and home Friends have gone Sorrow shown The Silver Fox I see Back in my memories Cowboy boots and hat A smile like a Cheshire cat Don Simms, Lucian Maynard and Dave Straley Barb Calhoun, Shirley Price and Nancy Bailey Earl Jackson, Jerry Vest and Tom Bloss Hope Ross, Bob Heil and Peggy Gross All our friends old and new A panoramic and statuesque view Movies in my mind The windows of time To Judy Combs. May all your days be Merry and Bright and may your retirement be long. Just some memories of all the people who have shared in our long, and not so illustrious, career at AEP. Robin Hale 04/27/10

What can I say, we have been through a lot together. We have laughed, cried, and threatened to quit, but we were too stubborn to give up. Working 6 days a week and until 8 p.m. every night in the beginning was an experience, but again we survived. I will never forget when we manually scheduled meetings, and Jerry would always exceed the meeting time and we would have to “begin again.” Those were the good ol’ days. Enjoy your retirement years, they will be the best years yet! I’ll meet you in Ritter Park and we will become two “gray haired” ladies talking about the good ol’ days. No! No! We will never allow ourselves to become “gray” we must keep those hair and nail appointments going, even in our senior years :>) Enjoy! Barbara Collins

Thank you for all of your support and assistance. As you begin to start your new Retirement Adventure, I know that you will encounter many paths. Whatever path you take, I hope it will bring Joy and fulfillment for you. I never like to say Good-bye So I will just say Hello Judy!! God Bless You – Think of us every now and then. Donna Campbell It has been a great pleasure working with you for the past twelve years. You are a definite calm in the storm that is HURRICANE!!!! I hope you enjoy your retirement very, very much; you deserve it! Have a great time, and we will miss you!! Misty Heldreth

I am so grateful for all the help you have provided me through the years. I would not have been paid many times without your reminders to complete my own time. Over the years I have made payroll errors that I should have caught, you always sounded very understanding. I can't leave out all the Expense Reports you completed for me, I would never had gotten them done without your help. One last thing, I will never forget the day you asked me "could you have used the company credit card to send Valentine's Day flowers to someone". Of course, we found that my credit card number had been stolen and used for several purchases. Best Wishes on your Retirement, I wish you many years of health and happiness!!!! Kathy Clark

It is hard to replace someone like Judy. I remember our days in the old Huntington Office. Judy was always willing to help others and was a good listener. Even today the Hurricane Supervisors count on Judy in a lot of ways. I could always trust Judy to do what is right. It is difficult to replace that level of integrity and respect in a short time. Judy made my transition back to Hurricane easier. I will always remember the good times we had at some after hours company dinners in the old Huntington Division. Judy and her husband Mke made them fun. I remember the time I ordered a steak for dinner and the restaurant brought me liver. I tried to eat it but could not. We had some fun that night. Thanks Judy for all your service to AEP. May God bless you in your retirement. Roger O’dell

Judy, Thank you for the memories. I will never forget all of the assistance you have provided me over the years. Not only were you always so helpful, you never let it show that I was driving you bonkers with questions (it's okay...I know I pestered you to death)!! You are so sweet and so very special to me. I will never, ever forget you and wish you the very best. Please keep in touch! Angie Wright

How are we going to make it without you? Hurricane Customer Solution Center will not be the same without you. I want you to know you are one classy lady and you will truly be missed. May God continue to bless you as you start another phase in you life. Janet Poole

I hope you know how very much I appreciate you and your peaceful nature. When I think of you, I think of calm, peaceful things, soft greens and blues. You're low-key manner has been such a contribution here. I didn't know you well before we built Hurricane CSC, but I'm sure you were always the perfect foil for Jerry's urgent, excitable personality. You certainly complimented him and all of his staff in Hurricane. Yet you're also the perfect compliment to Roger's less-demanding personality. I suppose it boils down to your being truly "flexible and adaptable" in all environments. That's a great gift. Not only does it make your job easier, but it makes everyone else's jobs easier, too, because you always have what we need, or know where to find it or how to get it done. You take our stress from us and make it go away. You're never flustered or irritated with us, although I suspect you bit your tongue quite often. = } I'm envious of your willpower. Did you know that? Not only do you have flawless, absolutely lovely skin (another thing I envy you), but you've the determination to make yourself healthier and to stick with it. You're a strong lady, and I've greatly enjoyed working with you. I wish you and Mike the very best of futures (and the best of luck in those casinos you'll visit!). Kathy Cook

Judy, I will miss you so very much. To me you are more than just a friend at work; I feel as if your part of my family. That’s all I need is another sister right? I know at first it’s going to seem as if you are on vacation and I’m just filling in temporarily, until that first payroll ending date and then I’m going to scream Judy, Judy, Judy, why has thou forsaken me!!!!! All kidding aside, I wish you all the best in your retirement and hope you have many long happy days. Love you, TC

You have been a staple in this office for many years. I know you have much more to do and accomplish after AEP is a just a faint memory. You have always been kind and gently even when the world around you has been in Chaos. I thank you for that and wish you all the best. Remember, “The trouble with retirement is that you never get a day off.” God Bless and Good Luck. Jason Krantz We’ve worked together for many years. Starting out in Huntington and ending up here in Hurricane. I feel blessed to have gotten to know such a wonderful person. Enjoy your retirement. I will think of you each year in September when it comes time to celebrate our birthdays. Regina Cardwell

J.C. Who is going to buy my jewlery now? Just joking. J.C., it has been a joy to work with you and become your friend over the last couple years. Your attention to detail and dedication to your job is unmatched and very much appreciated. You became an honorary Squirt this year, which means we will have to continue our Squirt dinners! I hope you enjoy your well deserved retirement! Your friend and co-worker, Lillian Jarrous (Squirt Two, the other half of Double Squirt!)

Thanks for all your help over the years, especially with time. You’re a life saver and we really hate to lose you and all your knowledge. Keep in touch and enjoy your retirement. Love, Violet

You have always been there to answer my questions, keep me straight on timekeeping and my expense accounts. Don't forget us! You will be missed! Debbie Bias I still can’t believe you are leaving us! We will miss you! Becky McAlister

Judy, I really appreciate your patience and good-heartedness. You are truly an inspiration of what kindness can accomplish. You are a great listener and are going to be missed so much every day. I hope you continue to be blessed and have a wonderful retirement. Kim Frasure

Congratulations on your Retirement!! Good luck on all your future ventures. If I could suggest one venture; the sport of cliff diving. Nothing says therapeutic like jumping off a 100 foot cliff with waves crashing the sharp jagged rocks below. But if that’s not your cup of tea, there is always skateboarding. Whatever your endeavors may be, enjoy every moment!! Steve Sharp I wish you a very happy and enjoyable retirement. Your timely “TIME” answers were always helpful! Jim Neidlinger
