FC: We will miss you... | Kathy Clark Retired June 1, 2010

Growth As we reminisce of times gone past We hope our memories will last Good and bad we may have seen Riches sought and times so lean Castles built in grains of sand Wind does blow across the land Memories swirl on castles torrents Water stormy with rippling currents Changes many they have come Growth is seen with challenges won Like trees in the forest Goals met, they do flourish From an acorn grows the mighty Oak So small at first, but not a joke The power lies from within A heart beats strong through storms and wind Fear not the future and what it holds Continue strongly and be bold What once was, leave behind Grasp instead the future blind To Kathy Clark, May your days be long and sunny and may you grow and prosper. Here’s hoping that life is like a beach. Happy retirement! Robin Hale 04/27/10

Kathy Congratulations on your retirement. I just don’t know who I’m going to take all my OPS questions to now. Best wishes. Regina Cardwell Kathy, I’m going to start out by saying double congrats to you on your upcoming wedding and retirement. I wish you a long and happy marriage and of course retirement. I will miss seeing and talking to you everyday. You are a very beautiful person, inside and out; I mean that from the bottom of my heart. TC.

You have left your indelible mark, I will miss your professional, expertise and your friendship. You have taught me a great deal during our short time working together, and for that I will always be in your debt. I wish you only success and happiness in your future endeavors - may they be all that you hoped for! Come and visit us often - For this is farewell and not goodbye. Jason Reid

Kathy: Congratulations on your Retirement!! We certainly are going to miss our E-Scheduling Jedi Master. What can I say, you are our Yoda. We will carry on your Jedi ways, and teach others the way of the force. Even though I always thought the Dark Side was a lot cooler. Think about it, they had double-sided light sabers, got to wear cool masks (i.e., Darth Vader), and shot lightning bolts from their hands. That’s just too cool. Well anyway, good luck on all your future endeavors. May I suggest extreme bungee jumping? It’s very therapeutic. Well, which ever venture you choose next, make it a great one. You will be truly missed!! Steve Sharp

Kathy Clark's dedication at AEP stands out. It is hard to arrive at work early enough to beat Kathy and you will often see her here late in the day. Kathy has developed a world of knowledge over the years that has come through her own desire and initiative to learn. Her contributions to the Hurricane CSC have supported the growth and success of the center. She is a dedicated professional that will be greatly missed. I have nice memories of her teaching processes and systems to the center over the years. She could always be counted on to identify technical issues and find and offer resolutions. Even through the transition period to leave early she continued to show interest in leaving things in good order. You just cannot say enough about someone with this work ethic and dedication. I also enjoyed sharing grandchildren stories with her. Thanks Kathy for all your service to AEP. May God bless you in your retirement. Roger O’dell

Kathy, Thank you for the memories. You have been such a role model and I have always looked up to you. You probably have no idea what a positive influence on my life you have been. I've always wanted to Kathy Clark "when I grew up"...but Lord knows when that will happen! You are truly a special person and I will never forget all you've done for me, our center, and our company. You are the best teacher and I will miss you so much. Angie Wright

Kathy, It has been great working with you during these past 12 years. We have survived the usual customer complaints, hot flashes, the frigid temperatures of the “window with a view” in Pod C, as well as a memorable trip to the hospital. These are just a few of the “fun-filled” times we have shared. Enjoy the next phase of your life, as it will be filled with good times, a new hubbie, grandchildren, and travel. Hopefully, you can enjoy these times at a slower pace. Keep smiling! Barbara Collins

Well you have mastered success “Retirement”. The Best of luck and I hope each new Retirement Adventure is one that you will always cherish. I never like to say Good-bye So I will just say Hello Kathy!! God Bless You – Think of us every now and then. Donna Campbell

Kathy, I wish you the best for a very enjoyable retirement. It has been a pleasure working with you. I appreciate your help especially with E-schedule questions over the years. Jim Neidlinger It will be stange to not see you come in 2 hours early to shift to keep me company. Enjoy your new home, future husband, grandchildren and life! Debbie Bias

Dear Kathy, It has been so much fun getting to know you! You're a true "steel magnolia" when you need to be, and a great example to us, showing us how to get things accomplished with quiet determination, good manners and professionalism. You've led us by example, proving it's possible to be a true "Lady" as well as a professional business woman. You've been a great, great asset to Hurricane and the CSC organization - I"m not sure yet just what we'll do without you. I know we'll manage, but your retirement is going to leave a gap that no one else can completely fill. We'll miss you. So now you're off to an exciting future! My most sincere congratulations on your upcoming marriage. You've given countless hours to our company, and are more than deserving of a fun-filled, family-filled, joy-filled future. You have my very best wishes for your every happiness. Kathy Cook

Kathy, What will we do without you?! We will miss you! Becky McAlister Congratulations on your retirement and upcoming wedding! Your work ethic is greatly admired and I hope you have a wonderful and long retirement. Lillian Jarrous

Kathy, I’ve always admired and respected you. I remember you from our training class at Milton. I remember thinking , such a little lady with a lot of knowledge. You taught MACCS with such confidence and made it easy to understand. I’ve always felt comfortable coming to you for information I needed. You will truly be missed. I’m wishing you the best of Luck in the next Chapter of your life. May God Bless you. Janet Poole

Kathy, What in the world are we going to do without you? I just want you to know how much I have enjoyed working for you and with you. You have been a great supervisor and mentor. Thank you for all your support over the years. I still cannot believe that I am going to come back here on June 1st and Kathy Clark is not going to be here. I wish you luck with your retirement, your wedding and all the new adventures that life brings. I cannot think of anyone that deserves this anymore than you. Please keep in touch and pray for us, we are going to need it without you. Love,Violet

Kathy, I can’t even write down all the things that you have done for me. I appreciate your time and patience and feel very fortunate to have met you, because you mean a great deal to me both as a friend and as a teacher. I wish you the very best, because you deserve it. (I also wish I could keep you on speed-dial, but I am afraid you might be considered one of those non-returning employees if that happened.) Thank you so, so much, again,,, Misty

Kathy, you are that little worker ant that carries 100 times its own body weight. You are respected, and I hope that I can be half the person that you are. I hope you continue to be blessed and have a wonderful retirement. Kim Frasure
