Dear Miti, i can't believe how old we both are now and that you're getting married. i am so happy and excited for you! wish you the best today and always! love you..... aditi (babboo)

Miti- Congratulations, I am so happy for you and Neal! I know you guys are going to have a wonderful and exciting life together as a married couple! I loved that we overlapped in Chicago together for a couple of years. We had so many random hangouts at your place (the only grown up apartment!), but the one that is the most memorable is: Chipotle, Wine, History of the Bra at 3am while lounging at your place in Chicago. Remember how it was daylight savings so then it ended up being 4am? It will always go down as one of our most random hang outs with Krups and Seema of all time :) - Nipa

Dear Miti, You are getting married! Yay! I cannot believe that time has flown by so quickly and here we are, just a few months away from the big day. My first memories of you are from your trips to Jaipur in the early 90's. You were so little then, but always calm and collected (well - almost always). Here we are, 20 years later, and you are just as put together, focused, well-organized and confident (not to mention super fun and totally goofy at times!). Knowing you as a child and a cousin was such a pleasure, knowing you as an adult and a friend is a privilege. You both are so cute together. God bless and lots of best wishes for the years to come! Love, Iti

Dear Mitilesh/Miiittti!, When I look back on our friendship, I realize we have shared a mixture of awkward moments and unwanted attention at times, such as: bat girl in AA, infamous troll car, homeless people barking at us, “P-pants”, babysitting Baby Aastha, purchasing Farfel , finding certain personal effects in the 628 parking lot, being the last people left on campus during finals in a snowstorm, the accident that only Ashek came out of scratch-less, harassing you to register for classes, your 21st birthday “aftermath”, scaring people with your loud laugh and voicemail greeting, coming home to find you lost in your duvet, and of course the bat war.

Even though we had known each other from our younger days in dance, I still remember being excited that we were going to be roommates! We grew so close, so fast and it has been non-stop fun ever since. My favorite memories are ones filled with laughter. I could not be more happy and excited for you and Neal. One of your biggest milestones is fast-approaching and I am so honored to be a part of it. Your warmth, sincerity, and honesty have made you one of my best friends. You’re all grown-up and I guess I can stop telling you to “cover your eyes!” or “earmuffs, Miti!” Thank you for always being there and I can’t wait to share more awkwardness in the future. Congratulations and love you!!! Always, Mony

Meaty! I still remember the first time I met you. I was sitting on the couch at 1001 S. Forest and you came in with Abhi to pick up the binder for Sevha. Who would have thought that 5 short years later I’d be sitting on another couch, this time with you, Seema and Nipa watching the history of the bra until 4 am? Who knew it was made of 12 different pieces? The things you learn with good friends You’ve taught me a lot over the years, and I’ll always be grateful that we’ve become so close. I often times think in my head “what would Miti do?” when faced with a situation I don’t know how to handle, and it inspires a graceful response that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. I’m so excited that you are about to get married. To Neal Sahney. Who’s head you stared at for a whole semester. HAHA. I guess it goes to show that if you stare at someone long enough they will eventually bend to your will. (I’m going to try that with the hot guy from Kitchen Cousins) There are countless reasons I’m thankful that you are one of my best friends and always will be. I don’t know where I’d be with out you. And I think we all know Sahney would be somewhere inexplicable. You’ve introduced me to Ellen, and how to always look at the bright side of any situation. How important it is to find the things and people you love and work toward that. How to take chances and try new things like you’ve done with all your crazy trips. How to always stand up for what’s right and not just go along with the crowd. How to always maintain a sense of integrity and grace. How to handle bad presents from boyfriends I could go on forever but I’ll stop being sappy, and just say I couldn’t be happier for you and I’ll always be thankful that Abhi brought you over that day all those years ago.

Top Miti Moments (In no particular order, or nearly comprehensive) 1.Running across town to buy Abhi’s bach liquor at Bev Mo’s when we found out later there was one much closer to us. 2.Signing up for a loyalty card at Bev Mo’s like we were alcoholics. 3.You pointing a finger at Sahney and herding him back with a fierce “No!” when he tried to dance with me after he dropped me on my knees. 4.Trying to do your hair for someone’s wedding you were going to with Neal and it looked so terrible you just had to dunk your head under the faucet and do it yourself. 5.Watching the history of the bra 6.Every time we hung out at your “big girl” apt in Chicago. 7.Mini Donuts in Minneapolis. 8.Mimosas and Chocolate chip pancakes St. Patty’s day in undergrad. Then Kavita getting all pissy because she didn’t get any, because she was too lazy to get up when we called her. 9.The craziness that was SAAN. Especially folder stuffing night when Seema was taped to the door. 10.All the girls nights and phone convos where we vented to one another and then boosted each other up with the “it’s all going to work out” speech FACE MASKS AND NAILS! 11.Emails about how we cry at weird things like the Biggest Loser. 12.Your fondness for port. 13.Your ability to transform into “Quadi Mit” when drunk. Love you lots! Krups

Miti, Rylie and I would like to congratulate you on your new phase in life! We could'nt be more happy for you and Neal and we are so proud to have the opportunity to share that special day attending your wedding! I would like to take this moment to give a quote: "You guys might not know this but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one woman wolf pack. But when I met Dayna, I knew she was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So there there was two of us in the wolf pack. I was alone first in the pack and Dayna joined in later. And soon after, when Dayna introduced me to you guys I thought wait a second, could it be?” And now I know for sure, I just added three more girls to my wolf pack. Five of us wolves, running around the desert together in San Fransisco, looking for strippers and wine." So tonight, we make a toast!

Dear Miti, I can't believe you're all grown up and getting married! Narrowing down 15 years worth of friendship to 2 pictures was not an easy task but it made me realize how much I look forward to looking at all the pictures we'll have 15 years from now and seeing the places we have gone and the memories we have shared. I am so happy for you and Neal and I wish you guys the best! - Dayna

My Darling Mithhu, Lots of love. Many many congratulations! Now you will leave this house. You don''t even know how much I will miss you. This is the moment which comes in every mom's life when their daughters go away. But you know it that you can never leave from our hearts. You will always be there. I wish you lots of happiness with Neal in your future life. May God bless you both. Love, Mom

Miti, you and I found out we were "cousins" when you were about 5 years old. I remember you were showing me how you could waddle like a duck when I fist met you. A few years later after moving to Michigan, we reconnected and spent several weekends together. We share a lot of great memories of dance practices dressed as boys, Sunday family dinners always including dessert, slumber parties at Kingsley, going to the movies before it got dark outside, 7-11 slurpees with change from the car, a spring break trip to Acapulco, a cruise where we both tried to hide from the sun, and many more funny times throughout the years. I have seen you grow into a beautiful and successful young woman and am really proud of who you have become. I cannot express how happy I am for both you and Neal and am so excited to be a part of this special time in both of your lives as you take the next step. The love you share is immense and sweet. May your love never fade away and blossom with each passing year. Congrats to the both of you! I love you! - Neha

Dear Mitilesh, I think back to the days of freshman year, and I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since we met. It was during our planning for the SEVHA dinner that we started becoming close and the friendship has continued to grow since then. You are one of the most genuine people I know and it is your sincerity, among other traits, that made me want to be your friend. You are so great that I still wanted to be your friend even when I found out that you celebrated Shahrukh's birthday every year. I can always count on you to be there. I could also count on you to be booty dancing in front of the mirror every time we came home to the apartment and to put make up on in the middle of the night. We had so much fun as roommates. I will never forget doing sparklers on our balcony to watch the knife fight in the intersection and then see Shamik try to stop the fight. I will always remember Nritya Kala practices and trying to deal with the wonderful smells of some of our dancers. I'm most happy that we have been able to remain so close in spite of living in different cities. I look forward to so many more memorable stories. I cannot be happier for you and Neal. I also can't wait to see Neal's moves on the dance floor at your reception. Wishing you all the best as you two begin your journey. I hope Shamik and I can join you two on one of your many adventures. We are planning for you to get as crazy as you did on your 21st birthday. We are bringing out the Port so Quadi can make some moves!! Love, Abhi P.S. I promise I followed instructions when you and Monz were in India. I did not kill Farfel.

Hey there, By now I imagine you are well into bachelorette party mode. Hopefully you’re having lots of fun! Sounds like these girls are going to take good care of you. It’s also nice that they promised to share every detail with me when you get back. Well, actually, only one person promised that. You may want to spend the rest of the trip trying to figure out who that person is rather than playing all those crazy bachelorette party games! Over six yearsI can’t believe it! Time really flew by. So many fun weekends, trips, weekdays (when we should have been working and/or studying). And to think, it’s just the beginning (do not insert classic Miti “oh no” here). Looking forward to celebrating many future St. Patty’s Day and non-St. Patty’s Day occasions alike (even if we celebrate them in the same shirt)! Love, Neal
