S: Lord, Where Do I Go"
FC: Lord, Where Do I Go? Written by Kathy Dunkin
Lord, when cancer hit and then returned, I didn't know where to go? Then You showed me where to go. Thank-You!
Father, throughout my adult life, I have known that You are with me: You go before, behind, above, and beneath. You are forever with me. My life is in Your hands. You are faithful and so I know that whatever happens, it went through Your hands first. I love You!
Lord, the path is curving ahead. Several nights I have felt so alone as I try to prepare for what may happen. All of us should prepare...everyday... But, as I lie here crying out to You, Father, I am reminded that You have been and must be my very best Friend. That is what makes Heaven so special.
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 NLT
Lord, when looking into the unknown, You show me that I am to remember Who You are and what You have always done. You are faithful.
My heart has heard You say, “Come and talk with Me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” Ps 27:8 NLT
Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. Ps 16:1 NLT
Tonight, Lord, I am so tired of being told to push ahead. I know that friends want the best for me so that I can become healthy. I know that I need to get up and move - push myself. But, Lord, do You know what I have been through? Do they? Of course You do....and so do my friends. Last year I was throwing up, hurting, exhausted, loosing my hair, and could hardly think. Then came radiation - .daily. Later, I began to get my strength back. Hair began to grow. I could drive. OOPS! The cancer spread and so another surgery and it is so hard to process this past year. I want to yell, "Do you know what has happened this last year? I don't want to get up." And I have to laugh. They went through it with me.. .You, have given me these friends to get me up and moving. They are saying, "Don't give up!" "Get up!" Thank-You!
A friend loves at all times... Pr 17:17a NIV
Lord, again the cancer has spread and now life takes on a new uncertainty: can I continue teaching when life is more uncertain now? Show me, Father.
YOU have parted the clouds and brought light to the path.
Decision to stop teaching was so difficult but best for my students and best for me.
Then came the decision to retire...
Then came the decision to move to San Jose.
Remember to stop and smell the flowers no matter what is happening. They are a gift from God.
Sometimes the clouds return but always with blue skies behind them. | STROKE??? No, reaction to medication.
Sometimes we can see the blue - other times they are not visible....but are still there.. | TRUST | Infection...
 Different Colors
Clouds come and go throughout our lives. But, I am never alone as You are always here. | Different Sizes
 My Bridge
With You as my Bridge, the road may dip a little but the road is secure.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Mt 11:28 NLT
Where do I go? I go to You, Lord, for wisdom, strength, guidance, love, and peace. I go to YOU!
