44: Crazy Horse is commemorated by the incomplete Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota near the town of Berne—a monument carved into a mountain, in the tradition of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial (on which Korczak Ziókowski had worked with Gutzon Borglum). The sculpture was begun by Ziókowski in 1948. When completed, it will be 641 feet (195 m) wide and 563 feet (172 m) high.

45: The Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota, in the United States. Sculpted by Danish-American Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln Borglum, Mount Rushmore features 60-foot (18 m) sculptures of the heads of former United States presidents (in order from left to right) George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.[1] The entire memorial covers 1,278.45 acres

47: So we had an accident and had to stay over an extra in Sioux Falls South Dakota, Some info it revolves around the cascades of the Big Sioux River. The falls were created about 14,000 years ago during the last ice age. We were blessed that no one was hurt, we just didn't have the truck anymore and had to get a rental. It was a stressful few days, but we got back on track and were so happy to keep going.

58: We had an amazing YEAR. Mateja Louise joined our family and along with that we had a lot of new things happened. We had a girl, we had our Jeffrey. We have never been so blessed in our lives. We had fun going to the zoo, playing in the yard, going to the park. Hanging out. Being together. Visiting family, and family reunions. We were able to spend a month on the road. See lots of the USA going to the East. It was a fun adventure with a lot of things that happened. We saw many church sites. We were able to see where the St. Louis Cardinals played (it was being torn down when when we were there to be rebuilt) We saw many temples. Scott and I were able to go to the Washington Temple, it was a blessing to have family in the area to watch the little monkeys. We also went to the Nauvoo Temple, however those pictures are no longer on the computer. We had so much fun making so many stops. Even if we had to finish in a rental. New York, the empire state building, a ferry ride to see the Stature of Liberty, the Bridges, the underwater tunnel. So much fun. A month was a long time to be away from home. But this is a trip we hope to take again one day! With a working camera and all our family that will join our home!
