3: BODEGA BAY Book Club Getaway We have the best weather ever! | 1/21-1/23 | We had a white elephant gift exchange, watched "Modern Family" and enjoyed the spectacular weather

4: Evan celebrates by going with his friends to a CAL game that goes into TRIPLE overtime! Followed by dinner & then dessert at our house. On his actual birthday, he has his customary lobster dinner! | Kiran, Nathan, Adam, Matt, Charles, Derek, Max, Conor & Neema

5: SPRING TRAINING | Brian Wilson | Pablo Sandoval | Jeremy Affeldt | Sergio Romo | Bruce Bochy | Brandon Belt | Nate Schierholtz | Barry Zito

6: Spring JV Basketball | Evan and Max were team captains | Steve was coach again and Evan played a lot! | !

7: Summer League Basketball

8: Spring Break | YORK | Saw Franny & Estelle and of course Big D & Onie

9: PHILLY | Penn | Bumped into Rachel Cohen who gave us a great tour of Wharton | Saw Jackie & Tom | Eating a Philly cheese steak | Southwest had a problem with one of their planes, forcing them to cancel our flights twice and we regretfully had to skip the DC portion of the trip :( We spent a delightful couple of days catching up with Big D & Onie. Then to Philly where we saw Penn, the Phillies and the Zemaitis'. Then onto New York & Boston.

10: Evan & Tom went to see a Yankee game, I saw my old friend Beth Samach and then we went to Sardi's for dinner & then to see the musical Memphis which was fun .

12: We went to Boston to visit Avery & showed Evan Boston College. Evan got to stay one night in the dorms with Avery. We took Avery's friend Justin to the Elephant Walk for a delicious meal. Walked around the commons and went to the Granary Burial Ground to see Paul Revere's grave. Also, there was an Indian festival at Tufts where they threw colored dust!

14: Weekend in Carmel | Susie & Tom go to the Speaker's Cup and get wined and dined at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Among the gifts in our over-the-top goody bag is an IPad 2 which we'd been trying unsuccessfully to get! The weather was really nice and Tom went on a beautiful bike ride while Susie was getting a pedicure.

15: Nana & Papoo come to visit! | Papoo goes to his first ever baseball game and gets to see the beard pitch!

16: World’s Greatest Dad | Danielle is a | ! | And on to Northwestern in the fall!

17: WORLD'S GREATEST DAD ! | Tom gets the double whammy of being able to be with Big D and Avery for Father's Day! They spend the day at the Baltimore Harbor.

19: We went on a motor boat and paddle boat!

20: Susie walked away from a "Wheel of Fortune" slot with seven crisp one hundred dollar bills, and an overall win of $500! Our hike on our way out of town offered some stunning views of Echo Lake.

21: Evan & Susie volunteer at Habitat for Humanity which was a lot of fun. Evan was a bit disappointed that he was too young to use the staple gun but I let him use it when no one was looking! | The area we worked on

22: Micki, Mel, Steph & me | Me at the surprise birthday brunch Terry & Tim threw me! | Tom, of course, was crucial in tricking me. I thought we were going over there to lend Tim a bike pump! | Mel and me at our joint birthday celebration at Siam Orchid with the bookies. | Terry dreamed up the whole surprise brunch which was incredible! | Mariann and Mark came

23: Lovely brunch in Leachs' backyard | Janet & Bill come to SF! Janet and I go to MoMA to see the Gertrude Stein exhibit and out to dinner | Birthday dinner at Pican! Jim & Maddie join us as well | So great to catch up with Janet after at least 3 years! | At Siam Orchid

24: O Canada | Mid-West Road Trip | The four of us met up in Canada for a family vacation. We went to Montreal, Quebec City and Tadoussac. Then | Tom & Evan went to the Midwest to check out colleges and baseball stadiums and Susie went to Paris and London. A good time was had by all!

26: VARSITY | Evan was | one of two juniors to start | as offensive right guard. | 10 | 2 | Season:

27: The game against Analy was incredibly exciting. We rallied from points down in the last 5 minutes to win by one point in the last 8 seconds! | 14 | !

28: Mom & Dad come to visit in October. They get to see Evan's team beat Las Lomas & we did some sightseeing

29: Hannah spends a week with us in December. One day the three of us went to the Cliff House for popovers and to check out the bridge and Lombard Street

30: Israel Birthright Trip | Danielle comes to visit! | Spring Break- Miami! | Provincetown | 4th of July | Snapshots of Avery's 2011

31: Fall Ball | Team won first! | 11/6/11 | Clinton signs photo taken with him on Avery's 2nd birthday! | Halloween

32: Tom turns 60! | Tom celebrates with his office in SF, at Postino in Lafayette & and at Enoteca Drago in Beverly Hills | Guests: Jay & Carri, Terry & Tim, Lisa & Jim, Ken & Sue, Rita & Paul, Mark & Mariann & | Steve

33: Guests in LA: The family, including the kids and Meir & Kimberly, Natalie & Mike, Jennifer & Andy, Mark & Janis, Fred, Betsy & Mike, & Wally & Georgia

34: Laguna Beach | We stayed at the Casa Laguna Inn, a B&B across the highway from the beach, for 2 nights to extend Tom's birthday celebration.

35: The weather was perfect and we enjoyed good food, relaxed and saw great sunsets

36: Guests: Melanie & Rich, Terry & Tim, Peggy & Paul, Kelly & Greg, Carolyn & Kevin, Micki & Bob, Susie & Gary | Some chatted, others danced and then at 10, I quizzed them with "Wait, wait don't tell me" questions. At midnight, we welcomed 2012!
