S: Aubrey Nicole Byers - year 6
FC: sweet blessing from God
1: Aubrey Nicole Byers 5 years old
2: Aubrey had an exciting year this year - kindergarten, lost her first tooth, learned to read. She is such a sweet, easy-going little girl with a tender spirit. She enjoys dress-up and playing pretend with dolls or even Gage's cars. She loves making creations with paper, markers, scissors, and LOTS of tape. While she has grown up so much this year, there are still some words she says incorrectly that make us smile: mice (nice), berry (very), bress (dress), tb (tv), Fancy (Nancy), sompin' (something), iPot (iPod), manks (thanks). The highlight of her 6th year was a weekend that started off with lots of tears. Aubrey had watched a movie where a baby dinosaur's mommy had been killed. This caused Aubrey to have fear about losing her own mommy. While it was hard to see her upset and fearful, it was a great joy to share with Aubrey how while death is sad we will not be sad forever since those who put their trust in Jesus will go to heaven and see their loved ones again. After many questions about heaven (some quite humorous), Aubrey prayed and asked Jesus to take her to heaven. We know there is much more to a relationship with Jesus than getting to heaven to see loved ones, but seeing her put faith in Jesus to care for her and her family as well watching the peace she received from her prayer of simple faith was a tremendous blessing. We look forward to seeing God's hand in her life as He continues to reach out to her and draw her to Himself. | What a GREAT year!
3: We had vegetables for snack today - the ones that looks like brains, cucumber, and the white ketchup stuff. | What is Levi's nickle name? | Mommy: "Goodnight, Bre. Gage: "shish" Mommy: "Bre, f-f-fish" Bre: "f-f-shish." Bre turns to Gage. Bre: "Gage, can you say f-f-shish?" Gage: "shish" | Shortly after Levi was born. "I like him. Can we keep him FOREVER?" | How big is the tooth fairy? Does she know how long it takes me to fall asleep - sometimes it takes me a little bit. (A little nervous? :D) | In heaven will we have the same hair? How about the same heads? | After hiding Daddy's gift and being reminded not to tell. "I forgot [where i hid it] already!"

12: Mommy & Aubrey
13: Aubrey was concerned on Mommy's birthday since there were no presents. After Mommy left with the boys, while Aubrey was waiting for Daddy to take her to school, she wrapped up some of her treasures (sticky notes) in dress-up scarfs. She put them on Mommy's desk and told Daddy to "text on Mommy" and tell her not to peek. After Mommy & Aubrey got home from school, she was very excited for Mommy to open her gifts.
